SE Please rework the effectiveness of status infliction [Blind]

This readily usable and refresh-able status debuff is absolutely broken in pvp.

Suggested Solutions:

-Remove
-Effectively allow a single use and a one minute buff protection (virus e.g.)
-Nerf the effectiveness tremendously in lowering accuracy
-Nullify its effect on abilities and vulnerability to only weapon skills
-Rework weapon skill combos to not reset upon missing
-Allow abilities to retain their bonus even if the ability misses (impulse rush e.g.)

Reasoning:

-Majority sources of blind are GCD based therefore re-usable generically every 2.5 seconds while the status effect has the potential to nullify major lengthy cooldown abilities, rendering them absolutely useless (full swing, impulse rush, trick attack e.g.) 2.5 seconds does not justify its power in contrast to the length of certain abilities or the impact left when an ability misses.
-Weapon skill combo based classes suffer immensely while inflicted with blind, the potential to lose ones full tool-kit ranging from 60 seconds to 150 seconds or more because your combo resets from a weapon skill miss.
-Among other reasons with lesser impact nor are they even required to promote a basis for change because the above two are concrete and sufficient.

Thoughts?

Don't you become immune to blind quickly, like every other CC mechanic? I've not found it to be a problem myself.

Blind and evade need to be looked at. It is a RNG mechanic that is extremely unfun and near impossible to play around on melee dps/tanks. It is also something that gives monk a further advantage over ninja and dragoon (ever missed a buffed 3?). Being able to blind someone for 21s every minute is a bit much.

If you are having problems missing you can equip accuracy accessories to become immune as you can have more acc than needed to get 110% hit rate which negates blinds -10% accuracy.

Where is this flat value of -10% accuracy from blind coming from? Under the effect of blind you miss far more than 10% of the time, it's almost guaranteed that you will miss a multitude of attacks.

No you cant compensate blind debuff with equip. Accuracy isn't responsible for missing while under blind, it is a flat chance.

Maybe don't try to burst when you have a blind debuff with full duration.That is the thing with cc, they are supposed to be annoying.

That's when you get blinded lol. Pop that 15s+ cooldown(s), then get blinded for the entire duration of your burst window, through Fetter Ward. OR get blinded just before you're about to pop off options are 1) Stop your burst and lose a ton of power on your next burst 2) Play rng similar to trying to forbidden meld an accessory and potentially lose it all. Nice meme when the ability to apply said debuff is on the GCD barring DRK.

No. Blind is a 10% reduction in your current accuracy stat. Featherfoot is a 20% increase in the invisible (level based) evasion stat. It is the difference between your accuracy and the targets evasion divided by a third value is what determines dodge chance.

Base accuracy at 60 is 354 with evasion a similar number. You need around 394 accuracy to guarantee hitting while blind, a 425 to hit a Featherfoot target and 472 to hit a Featherfoot target while Blind.

No. For starters, your accuracy measurements are already wrong. You need 407+ accuracy to guarantee hitting normally, not 354. Blind is a flat % chance of missing, so is Feather-foot.

Blind should be a flat 15% chance to miss. That makes it a useful mitigation tool for PLD for trash mobs.
