There are some seriously talented designers in this community. The ones which didn't make it into the finals are good too. A skeleton themed robe/hood would be awesome.

One thing which bothers me is that a lot of the final designs are female-only (and in a way which I'm reasonably sure would require heavy modification to meet basic quality requirements for male characters). I hope that they aren't chosen, or that if they are a reasonably amount of time is invested into making them work on all race/gender combinations. I mean, I'm totally ok with wearing the female-only 'fiery draconian robes of casting' as-is but if it isn't heavily overhauled for guys (or is turned into something much uglier for them) I can see a whole bunch of people being rather depressed.

Or big Highlander girls like me. I don't look good in a lot of female-themed stuff, especially anything frilly.

From the design requirements. The winning entry will very most likely be made available for both genders and all races as per the point below that.

Out of all the entries there are only two that make me question why they are in there at all. As cute as the ahriman/carbuncle outfits are I really hope they pick more serious outfits for the class specific winners, and add the "monster" themed outfits for all roles in the gold saucer or something similar. The ahriman one especially would look nice on NIN, so it would be a bummer if it was implemented as caster only.

OMG I want the carbuncle one, Gold Saucer please :D

I really favor #36 for the healer gear. It does not include 2 of the 3 biggest complaints about healer gear (robes and pointy hats) and includes the 3rd (uses white) but isn't exclusively white and looks like healer gear.

The thing is is that they need to include any sets they are considering using from contest even if they don't win. The carbuncle mascot, adamantoise mascot (from the tank contest), ahriman gear, succubus gear and crepe gear are "joke entries" but are there for when they are added to the Gold Saucer.

Not only is it rather aesthetically pleasing, it's also by far the most gender neutral of all of the Healer designs (very telling when the vast majority of them only have female characters posing in them) and probably the easiest to incorporate into the game with all details intact. Though it seems more of an Astrologian set than anything.

Failing that, I'd take these three.

I'd like more "tribal" looking gear. As it stands we only have Sorh Kai NM and the New World glamour outfit. The bottom one looks too much like WAR's AF1, but i do like the general look.

Unfortunately , if the tank contest is anything to go by, they'll chose the easiest armor to implement.
