Balmung ??

Hello,
my name is Voji Masika. I wanted to me today after the server work create a char on Balmung, but unfortunately this was not possible again. Can you give me a hint how I can except the transfer on Balmung, or a time where man possibly could create a character?

Right after a maintenance there is usually a window of a minute or two when it is possible to create characters on Balmung. Other than that a paid transfer is the only option.
Note that if you do a transfer then it is possible to transfer up to 8 characters at once.

Oh, then I was not fast enough. =(

How come it is so popular the Balmung?
I know something in the way of Shiva, by the RP there are many players on the server,
but you can still in the time from 9 AM - 15 PM create a char without problems.

Extremely small window, maybe less than a minute actually. Your best bet is to just do the transfer fee. It is a legacy server so pretty crowded and people can be competitive. If your looking to party with friends you can do party finder cross servers now. Remember you can transfer up to 8 characters at once.

The server decides whether to lock character creation or not a few minutes after coming online, and the server fills up in less time than that from I've heard. You'll need to either log in the very minute the server comes up after maintenance, or pay the transfer fee.

To be fair though, the only real reason to be on Balmung these days is if you have friends there or are really into roleplaying. The cross-server party finder that was added recently means that which server you're on isn't nearly as important anymore.

For the exact same reasons you want to go there in spite of the difficulties and knowledge you will never be able to get a house or see a hunt mob, I imagine. It's a famous server and everyone wants to be part of that rather than building a community elsewhere.

That's true but the housing part not really. We are over crowded. It is a very large server, has plenty of legacy users as well who I find more courteous and helpful. The new transfers sometimes can cause problems and lately are claiming that Balmung is a Toxic community. Be warned Transfer at your own risk. If you do drop by and say hello :P

Yes, I would like to because of the RP there. My English is not so good, but maybe I'm learning it through the FP a little better. =)

I still don't the Balmung should be heard an unfriendly or toxic server. With us in the RP community there is also friction, but it has so his acquaintances to make still useable nice RP. = D

I'll take probably with a character from Shiva. I can be sure that it works. =)

I've been on Balmung for half a year after some friends recommended to transfer, saying it was a busy server and easier to find people to do this with. The are some really nice people on the world, but sometimes it does seem really crowded and the housing is a nightmare! Honestly, I'm considering moving to another world, or even a new server, think Balmung is a little over rated. After all, the cross world party finder has it's benefits these days :)

OK, I'm on Shiva in a large German community of RP. Since I heard the Balmung some class is. Unfortunately I don't know but on Balmung anyone so that I would make myself a picture. I think it's a pity that I's work after the server managed have me there to create a char. =(

I'll put in my 2 cents I guess. The ONLY reason I'm on Balmung is because of friends. I usually stay away from mega servers, but the friend that got me into the game is on Balmung and he was there since before Balmung was Balmung. Hell, his main is on the list of heroes you can view after beating the Praetorium. So I got a little involved in the community, and fell in with a pretty awesome guild (most of my buddies are solos for some reason). Still, if there was a transfer in my future, it wouldn't break my heart. Place is too freaking packed. I'd suggest, OP, to stop throwing gas on the fire and find another server where you can make a dude for free.

I would look at there still like the RP me. I have Yes a char on Shiva and Balmung would simply be an experiment. =)
