How to bring dead PvP modes back

The devs should make both level 60 fl modes have their own pvp roulette that allows repeatable rewards along with level 50 fl modes so that each respective roulette can give extra pvp experience points. These options would leave players open to variety instead of being left to queue for for only one mode (i.e. shatter) because of activity. For example, In WoW; you're able to queue for random battlegrounds (similar to frontline) and you can get bonus rewards from constant participation. If level 60 modes have their own roulette; seal rock can possibly gain an influx of activity again and many older pvp-ers miss it but the pops aren't frequent. I don't believe it's fair how S.E. puts so much work into designing these modes just for them to become obsolete after a short while.

or go through a rotation of temporarily removing 1 frontline completely. The other modes will get played more due to a smaller roulette pool, then the removed mode makes a comeback and another one takes a break for a few months

I would like to Do seal rock again or other old game pvp modes

PvP needs more modes imo. For example, I want to be a boss that faces a party and get rewards for each death/wipe i cause. xD Id be ok with a roulette that lets us take turns as the boss.

It might be helpful to have more arenas for Feast as well..and some new mechanics like hidden mine traps or spring boards..things like that. Cool environmental mechanics.

Wouldn't the easiest way to make them alive again be to bump the level cap to 60 in Carteaneu? And make both award Poetics and Lore.

no because then people would only play for Lore/Poetics bonus instead of actually pvping

Introduce the following:

Level 50 PVP Frontlines Daily Roulette 50 Lore & 20 Scripture
Level 60 PVP Frontlines Daily Roulette 50 Lore & 20 Scripture

Simple. Or they could get more complex but reduce the bonus awarded:

Level 50 PVP Frontlines Secure Daily Bonus 25 Lore & 10 Scripture
Level 50 PVP Frontlines Slaughter Daily Bonus 25 Lore & 10 Scripture
Level 60 PVP Frontlines Seize Daily Bonus 25 Lore & 10 Scripture
Level 60 PVP Frontlines Shatter Daily Bonus 25 Lore & 10 Scripture


Keeping the PVP experience bonuses the same would speed up levelling so that, come 4.0, more players will be lvl50 in PVP.

Except people already do that now. Just queue for Shatter and afk -> get free tomes.

Lv50 PvP is dead because:
1. It's Lv50
2. It only offers poetics

I think the fact it's lv50 holds like 75% of the weight. No one wants to get synced down. And I don't understand why we're going into 4.0 with Carteaneu being dead, worthless maps that could be so much fun at 60.

Sometimes I wish the map selection was removed because I'm seriously tired of Shatter and Shatter ONLY. Even when using the roulette. As it stands now it's pretty much impossible to get Seal Rock achievements. I still haven't even gotten the Field Commander Boots T.T

that sounds really good. spread the word maybe S.E would consider this idea

This way everyone is happy With finally playing Other modes and not only Shatter especially going into 4.0 since S.E wants to make PvP big why not boost the Exp earned that's repeatable. I enjoyed playing Slaughter and Secure.. sadly i haven't stepped foot in neither one in awhile.

Would you call Seal Rock "alive"...?

Because that's the best case scenario if you just bumped them up. Note: Best case. Worst case, queue times for everything increases because the small community gets spread out more.
After all, Seal Rock already has all the rewards Shatter has, except the mount which is replaced by the Field Commander set (Which I personally managed to get about a month or so ago, so it does still pop - Ironically, though, it often stopped popping in the EU evening hours, which I suspect is due to the game waiting for a 72 match instead of going with the 24 people it had previously).

The same would go for Slaughter and Secure if you just bumped it up in levels. We already have a precedent of a "dead" frontline that doesn't have a different level/considerably worse rewards. So I can tell you that this is not going to solve anything.

Do not go AFK. Do not even joke about it because it has ruined games for many of us in the past.

Honestly part of the problem of why Seal Rock is dead is because Shatter is just a lot easier to get into than Seal Rock. Part of the reason is that Shatter mount is only 100 wins, queues are fast, and you can get credit on both ADS from just Shatter so newer players that want these mounts will play this mode. Also, Shatter requires very little pvp experience and you don't even really need to know what your pvp abilities are or do cause all you have to do is really hit ice, where as in modes like Seal Rock/Slaughter/Secure, you actually had to PvP and learn a different type of game play that most people in this game aren't used to. It was alive longer on Aether than it was on Primal but eventually it even died in Aether so all we're left with now is the new mode that (almost) all veterans hate.

I'm all for pvp roulettes but I think they should also scale the level 50 maps up to the current level cap.
