Are there really that many Moogle weapon threads?

Or is SE just trying to cut down on the criticism? I haven't looked through all of the pages, but on the first page, I see two threads that have been locked regarding this topic. I only see about 2 other Moogle weapon threads and have never seen threads get locked because of its repetitiveness.

I honestly think it's just because I've seen 4 of them already, and there's already a main one going on. SE probably just wants whatever criticism people have in one place regarding these weapons so it's easier to go through.

They have stated repeatedly that they welcome criticism on the forums and, for the most part, I have seen threads get closed for one of two reasons: latest posts have veered way off topic or there's too many threads about the same thing cluttering up the boards.

I don't think you read my opening post. I mentioned that there are other repeated threads and threads regarding Moogle weapon criticism are the only ones I've seen where repeated ones got closed off quickly. I couldn't care less about people complaining on this forum since I can easily *gasp* not enter the thread, lol. I was just curious to know why they got closed off so fast.

I figured this one would get closed pretty fast so I didn't bother with the full explanation - but hey! It's still open! I might as well give it a go.

Multi-thread topics happen all the time, that particular one got closed off because it fulfilled 3/3 of the Threadlock Holy Trifecta.

1) Topic was already underway in other threads
2) New topic offered no new discussion branch; was just angry QQ
3) Sh!tty attitude and lack of substance got it reported to moderation.

You can easily open the 50th thread about something, but if you don't offer anything new and are completely ignorant and rude about the subject so much so that someone clicks the /!\ at the bottom left, it gets locked.

Now there are three more weapon threads... :( And a thread about weapon threads! When we get a thread about the thread about the weapon thread, I'm pretty sure it'll be too late to save my sanity.

Perhaps when someone tries to create a topic, it can check to see if there already topics with similar topic titles and suggest them to the person trying to create the thread? Might be a b to code but there's other sites out there with similar features. It might not stop all the similar thread creation, but it might curtail it a bit (and save the reps and mods from having to waste their time dealing with them).

These weapons look like they belong in the halloween/christmas gear category. You know, silly looking gear that doesn't really have stats (not that stats seem to matter, right Ifrit?)

I agree that it would be stupid to ask for them to re-make the gear because of a couple little kids having a fit. But I can't blame them. It looks stupid.

Are these weapons suppose to replace the Ifrit weapons? Do they have better stats? Or is that information not out yet?

One thread is too many... delete them all and we can all pretend this never happened.

Jeez now I'm starting to notice them, lol. They're definitely a problem.

its like a disease, they lock one (cure it) and 2 more pop up, before long they are going to have to cleanse the whole place. by burning the forums to the ground

dunno why people are so butthurt over the look of the weapons. I mean, if you were expecting weapons based on adorably cute flying mole rats to be full of GAR and Kamina-levels of badassery, you clearly have mental issues and need help.

Ironically, there are at least two of these types of threads, so isn't this a case of calling the kettle black?

Silly weapons for an intentional silly fight. So.....mission accomplished SE?

First time moogles have ever been taken so seriously.

They should have better status or relative effect that make people like to use. Or else, nobody would spam them, and 1.20 will be just for testing combat (take 1-2 days).

It is only temporary weapon until 1.21 anyway, why can't people accept it short-life span? Garuda's coming next
