Unable to complete version check [20458][24530][410]

Unable to play the game from 3.55b patch.

Also the PS4 updated to System Version 4.50 today.

Region - United Kingdom

ISP - Virgin Media

Connection Type - Both Wired and Wireless connections.

System - PlayStation 4

Restoring all PS4 game licences did not work for me.

Rebooting Modem did not work for me either.

Connect the PS4 to a different network, like a phone hotspot. Try running the updater again, and once it starts downloading you can cancel and switch back to your regular network to finish the download.

Basically, when this problem happens you have to connect to the patch server from a different external IP. Using a VPN achieves the same result, but is obviously not very straight-forward on a PS4.

Unable to use a different network or any other internet source other than the network that I am currently using.

In that case, I don't know. Phone hotspot or VPNs are the only things that have solved this issue for me.

You can try changing your console's DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 4.2.2.1, but I think those fixes are for other problems.

Yeah Kurai is not the only one having these issues atm; I think its affecting a majority of people with the latest update for the PS4 System

[UPDATE] The procedure of using "8.8.8.8" works btw; so use that method

Glad you got it working. Have you tried Boost Mode yet? Any improvements?

Adding 8.8.8.8 or 4.2.2.1 to my Primary DNS and/or secondary DNS on the PS4 did not work for me.

Good to know at least I'm not the only one having this issue on the PS4. I absolutely refuse to reinstall the game as a whole to fix it as anything other than the absolute last resort, but I do hope I don't have to go that far. the DNS trick didn't really work for me though, and I'm not sure what other options to check really.

Start of my day was not any different then any other day, got up booted up the PS4 said it needed updating which it did and logged in as normal. So not affecting everyone that plays on PS4.

Reinstalling the game does not work. I have read though posts about this all day. Some people can't even log back into the game for "3 weeks". "2 weeks"

Good for you. Some PS4 players are having this issue and some are not. It was never said its affecting all PS4 players. Your unneeded post count bump is not useful.
