Desynthesis question

i've been leveling weaver/goldsmith/culinary Desynthesis and finally got them all to 160

i've been running fractal continuum for wvr/gsm items and also doing daily hunts for centurio seals to turn in for gear but its a very very slow process iam trying to max my Desynthesis before stomblood hits and this proccess seems way to slow so was wondering if anyone knows a faster way to finish leveling it?

i really dont like spamming fractal continuum hoping a wvr/gsm item drops and hoping i win the roll

I did a bunch of pvp for the mounts and used the Wolf Marks to buy desynthable equipment. You can only desynth up to 205 right now though. I bought some 235 and then couldn't...

Move into IL 170 equipment which you can purchase very cheaply at the Forgotten Knight with centurio seals, and go from there with other currency items. When you get higher level, you may be able to start buying replica allagan pieces and other tradeable stuff on the marketboard if they are cheap on your world.

Don't forget that any gear you can put materia in increases your desynth chance, as well as Tinker's Calm and Bacon Broth giving +3(+4) and +1(+2) for NQ/HQ of each

What is the max desynth level for a single class? I've gotten my CUL up to 204.

I was in the same boat not too long ago. The resurgence of PVP helped. Used wolf marks to get pvp gear for desything. There is a 180 and 205 set.

At least on my server, there is always a constant supply of glamour gear on the market board from people constantly running PotD. Glamour gear produces fieldcraft demimateria, which is always in constant demand. At least in my opinion, checking the market board, and fleecing the market of cheap desynth fodder is a much more worthwhile investment of time than running a dungeon in the hopes of getting one piece to desynth.

Following up on this, some of the "Expeditioner's" gear set is fairly cheap as it is obtained frequently from Palace of the Dead, and can help boost your desynthesis level on WVR by a large margin in the early 200s.

Desynthesize Esoteric accessories from hunts instead of dungeon gear, probably not the best but it's certainly faster than dungeons. Could always craft NQ 180 stuff and desynth that. For weaver, I leveled the gap between 160-200 by desynthing Blue Scrips gear with Tinker's Calm HQ and a Bacon Broth HQ.

One thing I did for my weaver was get the survival shirts/halfslops off the MB. Since they drop from PotD they tend to be relatively cheap. :)

From 1 to 250 I did:

1. Random dungeon stuff // crafted gear // buyable gear from NPC's
2. Allied seals gear (ilvl 100); Poetics (ilvl 120; if not needed for relics)
3. Random dungeon stuff // crafted gear // buyable gear from NPC's (Heavensward)
4. Centurio seals gear (ilvl 170, ilvl 200); Lvl 60 Dungeon drops; Allagan Replica gear
5. Lore items (if not needed for relics/gil/gear); Primal weapons (BSM, GSM, ARM, ALC, CRP only)
