How can you gather she's Yuna in the trailer when she looks just like a generic female Hyur with everything that's in the game? The eyes you can just make out in the pic you posted. Her hair is different from both FFX and FFX-2 Yuna's styles, and is in fact one of the original hairstyles in the game. Facial structure is too long for Yuna who had a slightly more rounded face.

You're wanting too much and seeing what isn't there.

Cameos as events, Krile isn't the same one as we knew before, and Cid etc. are staples, not cameos. As stated, there is enough proof in her looks that already says she is definitely not Yuna. Yuna may later appear in some kind of event, but with the missed opportunity with the X+X-2 HD release, and their clothing already added to the game, I doubt this cameo will ever happen.

To me they look extremely similar even it they are not the same.

It's not uncommon for SE to use past characters as placeholders, or as cameos.

Still looks nothing like her as she was in X, I honestly don't see what you're seeing. Her facial structure, hair, eyes... everything looks different. Only thing that is arguably the same is hair colour, and because brown is such a rare hair colour?

Well, which is more likely? Seeing a CGI character who looks Doman, or one who looks like they're from some other part of the planet? The Domans we've seen from 2.x and forward all have a very general look. Dark hair, dark eyes, etc... Meanwhile, that specific individual thwarts that with brown hair, and eyes of an indiscriminate color.

I don't think we'll see Yuna in 4.x outside of maybe a cross-world event or something. I don't think its out of the question for SE to have slipped a Yuna look-alike nameless figure in their CGI as a nod to her though.

Must I quote this again? NOTHING about her even suggests or looks like Yuna. You can see quite clearly in the close ups posted here that the eye colour is brown, if you can't see that you may have trouble seeing colours.

I disagree. I see a resemblance. As do others who have posted here. You can't make people see what you want them to see. Why you're getting so upset over someone's suggestion that it looks like Yuna is beyond me.

Actually the "Yuna" design you are referring to has appeared in nearly every ff title. It's one of their standard protagonist models. There is some variation usually do to platform or animation style, but that could just as well be Dagger from IX or Ashe from XII, Rinoa from VIII, Hume female from XI or a short haired Tifa from VII. SE stays with what works.

SE would have used a good character so it can't be Yuna.

To be honest, I don't know. Maybe I just thought people would actually be smart enough to see they bare no resemblance at all and realise that's just a generic npc look, and the delusion/denial just irked me. The only thing they have vaguely in common is the hair colour, which is hard to tell from the lighting too. Guess I shouldn't point out facts that answer a topic, when people demand it's the other out of pure want?
