I can't stop watching that footage... and giggling hysterically.

The only thing that would make it epically better (or worse) is if they kupo'd whenever you smacked something. Like the kupo rod in FF11 (Hundred fists kupo rod was hysterical the first 3 times).

The axe and conjurer's wand looked good, I'm just surprised at the variety between the weapons. Some look like they were made as a joke (which would be cool if all the weapons did that), while others look really fancy. So, a bit unfair for pugilists, aint it? :p

I like all the designs. Some look kinda dumb, but I like it.

Im not sure how PGL would make good damage with some Fluffy Moogle-puppets, where you would expect Claws. O_o

The Axe, Sword, Staff, Club are pretty good looking tho. The Moogle on the Bow ( the Bow itself looks awesome ), gives it a terrible look. The Lance looks like a Fork of a Giant or something.. and well yeah.. i dont get the Claws.. the should have switched the Iron Wings on it, and made it the Claw's.. and the Moogle could have been on the Side.

/facepalm to the moogle weapon antenna ball.

Then cut your losses and stop playing. I don't really know what else to tell you. This is the direction Yoshida's taking the game, if you don't like any of the changes you're not going to like the future changes. Why torture yourself by playing a game where you don't like any of the changes made?

Personally, I love the weapons. I love joke weapons in games even if they don't fit the general aesthetic. That's why they're essentially joke weapons, which is exactly what I'd expect from a cute, adorable moogle boss. You can't expect some kind of deadly, evil looking weapons from a big puffball with wings.

I mean the Phantasy Star Online/Universe series, Soul Calibur and even the new Saint's Row all have some pretty awesome and hilarious joke weapons. It's okay to have silly weapons from time to time. I mean I could understand if they went as joke/cartoonish on Shiva or Garuda weapons, yeah I'd be pissed too. However these are Moogle weapons, this is about what I'd expect.

That being said, I definitely want the Fists and Lance. The Axe is pretty awesome looking though so I'll grab one of those too lol.

@Arcell I don't have any problem with joke weapons but in this phase of development... Come on.

Well I think it's fun with joke weapons! I mean, why not? It's a moogle battle after all, and when were moogles ever known as the serious guys? ;) I just think the level of hilariousnes (how do you spell that!) should have been more equal between the different classes' moogle weapons.
