4-dungeons with SAmurai. A problem incoming?

Good day

As Yoshi said, Samurai will be a totally SOLO target DD

A simple question- will the 4-dungeons become a total waste of time with a Samurai in a party because of a need of a quick killing of the trash mobs- means to have a good AoE damage? Even current melee DDs has some AoE attacks and can kill groups of mobs rather fast

How do you think? Would it be a permanent "facepalm" to see a SAmurai in your party in a 4-dungeon?

Samurai will inevitably have an aoe like every other melee does...

Yoshi-p said that Samurai will have massive single target damage, but I assume the different forms / stances will provide us with some aoes.

Where can I find the lv1-70 skill list of Samurai, which Xyno seem to have?

If it about the description of the job, then remember that also MNK is descripted as a single target melee, and still have some AoE skills. 1 "in stance" AoE, 1 "outside of stance" AoE and 1 "in line" AoE

As long people don't start kick Samurais because they want pull 600000000000 enemies in one single pack is ok. Also, maybe only one, but I think will have a AoE skill.

Because in the Samurai teaser he is solo, not with a tank who pulled a whole floor

The Monk in that teaser don't use Elixier Field as a new skill, and still have it

They also only showed what.. 4 or 5 skills? You can't look at 5 of the possible skills sam will have and think "THEY DIDNT SHOW AN AOE SO THEY WON'T HAVE ANY AOE."

Regardless, You're being severely over dramatic if you think SAM will get kicked for doing mainly single target damage. quickly Taking down one enemy in 10 seconds then moving on to the next will only slow you down a tiny bit compared to taking down 4 enemies in 30 seconds. You make it seem like this would add an hour onto the clear time.

I think I should start being wary of people with pumpkin heads now.

i will be go farer dont the cg show the samurai do an aoe ok it can be flavor but i doubt the sam will have only solo attack or it will be extremely unbalanced...why?
because it means for loosing him aoe capacity he need to be unmatched in solo dps... what will make it mandatory for boss fight with light add... before judge a jobs wait to play it...

CGI trash is not indicative of anything. The real teaser for Sammy was mainly all about idle poses and emotes.

Just like we had 2 NIN in every dungeon when they were first released? Just ilke we had a DRK, AST and 2 MCN in every dungeon when they were released? Because that ruined the game for evermore.

Not to mention the fact that you are missing a very important point: You don't get a say in what other people play or don't play.

I imagine sam will get a conal aoe like how monk has one.

Aside from the fact that you've been given no meaningful gameplay footage of any of the SB Jobs yet, every damn Job in this game has at least one AoE ability. What a nonsense post.
