Limitations of Head Gears

Howdy again.


Dont you just wish you could wear some glasses and a hat?
or maybe a robe and a mask?
or a partial mask and some goggles?

Discussion open: Limitations on head gear leave a lot to be desired, lets talk about it.

my thought is: why cant we stack some kinds of glams to brouden the variety

Thee are only 2 solution.
1. Changing the head gearslot into 2 slots for the upper part and face part
2. creating more hats with glasses and masks with googles

I want to be able to wear glasses and my Cait Sith ears. I want it now.

I think they should add a face slot independent of the head slot, but in case that isn't possible, I've mentioned a couple times that maybe adding face items to the earrings slot would do as well. Maybe even in the necklace slot, since sometimes they are not visible depending on the top being worn.

A teeny tiny 'face' slot attached to a compatible head gear would work. It wouldn't provide stats and just be cosmetic, but wouldn't require a glamour either. You just add and remove it like with any gear.

Man, you just reminded me that the Healer & Cleric Robe hoods still does not work :(

I think a "face" slot that's solely for glamour purposes would be cool.

The canned response from back in the day was due to system or memory limitations. But they've been slowly adding improvements to the game that weren't possible before due to similar limitations, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that we could get a face slot in the future, especially if there's enough demand for it.

Honestly I'm kind of sad there is no slot just for glasses, or at least allow glasses to be gamoured over earrings since most people use Emperor's New Ears to hide them anyways.

I want to be a able to wear my glasses with circlets, hats, ear items, etc.

The solution is to use the slot of earrings for the glasses in glamour. And the slot of necklace for scarves :)

From what I've heard in 1.0 there were undergarment slots for the body and legs. It would be pretty nice to have those come back, along with a face slot, if only for the additional customization.
