Thats because its the same NPC every year. I doubt they'll change it unless she gets fired in the story? Lol

I mean, the art for a lot of the events have cat girl art, even though they have no appearance in the story >>;

i'm usually not bothered by events unless they have mounts... however i want that emote!

That new emote seems to be a lazy way to say "Here, it's the same as /blowkiss, but with lots of little cute heart because it is Valentine's day".
Something new would be interactive emote between 2 people like a cuddle. This is definitely lacking the game.

I want a true kiss like a true couple :3 but i guess some people with bad ideas would just harass people with it

The only event Roes of either sex would be the main focus of an event is Moonfire Faire, just like Valentine's is dominated by Fem Elezen. Every other event is some combination of Lalafell, Miqo'te or Au Ra because they're the cute waifu/loli races.

No clothing is a big disappointment, the emote looks recycled but with effects added on. Oh well, at least the little ladies day has something new.

Mirroring the disappointment that "Dote" seems about the same as "Blow Kiss" but with little heart effects added. It's just extremely lazy - if that is indeed all the emote winds up being. I'm hoping it's somewhat differentiated or even an emote that works nicely with others doing the same... but yeah. Promotional picture of it doesn't lend a lot to that hope.

That chalice is adorable, though - I'm happy it's a flower vase, it's a really cute decor!

Ugh, this is the last thing those people at Balmung should be given...

When i heard we were getting a kiss emote i thought it would be an actual kiss, should have known they would be lazy about it.

Still, the emote is not fantastic, when are they going to give us the best one they did so far ? the broom one from All Saints !

I'd say, the 2015 halloween event was probably as good as it was because we were about 4 or 5 months in 3.0 when people were waiting for new content to come out. I don't think they'll top that one anytime soon. Though, to be honest, i enjoyed the Saint's wake of 2016 with the spooky manor.

I'm always happy when an event gives us a new minion or Orchestrion roll. :D

I love the emote, can't wait to spam it and lower my friend's Attack stat.

Personally I think the emote is cute. I don't care if it's a reuse. It's free, so can't complain. Maybe the devs or dev is having time constraints or budget constraints. Would you rather they spend money on a free emote, or more stuff for Stormblood? I know which I would prefer.
