Any1 try trolling with ego glamour

Have any smn try using titan egi disguising a carbuncle.

I've seen it, and I'll say yes to any votekicks that are initiated on them for it, but it's not like I don't expect garbage in DF anyway.

Haven't seen it, but would be noticed (by me) right away once they do their signature rock tossing move.

They should gives egi a mark which summon it is...

Seen it. They got kicked immediately. No-one felt bad.

yes in A10 i was really confused when i saw the titan Enkindle used then i thought about >_>

I'm confused. How are people trolling with the egi glamours?

SMNs finally get the egi glamour they've been craving for so long, what do they do? Abuse it to try and get it taken away again.

Generally speaking you should not be using Titan-egi in dungeons. It is both a DPS loss and a pain to tanks since it steals aggro easily. If you are using Titan-egi normally, everyone will know it, but our the egi is glamoured to a carby, since they're not glamour color by type, you have no way to know which type it actually is until it does a move. Troll SMNs realize this and will glamour Titan-egi to emerald or ruby top make it appear that they're not using Titan-egi and deliberately try and rip hate off of the tank with it and nerf their DPS.

Ahhh I see. That's a d**k move, to be sure. I went with Topaz carbi for titan, emerald for garuda, and ruby for ifrit. *shrugs* Just seemed like a no-brainer to me. :P

Lol really? That's amazing.

I've used ifrit disguised as a topaz carbunkle. Much confusIon, many suspense. Then I use radiation shield and everyone goes back to ignoring the poor smn. :(

A simple solution would be to not change the display name.

I haven't seen any waffle trolling yet.

It's such a no-brainer to me that I'm kind of confused we even have the option to do it any other way tbh.

That would just make the system pointless. People want to be able to summon whatever egi they want but we arent allowed to do that so we have color carbys for the time being. Restricting them to same colors they originally were for wouldnt be a smart option for the whole egi glamour system.

When this came out I didn't read carefully enough. I unlocked it and immediately tried to glamour all my summons to have titan-egi skin. Found out we can't, only glamour to carbuncles, biggest disappointment.

and here i thought topaz was a no brainer for ifrit- it's the only carby that has has a fiery-looking butt.

Unacceptable. Give Titan the niche of defensive buffs for the party, or perhaps just a single person (the tank), like how Ifrit has the niche of being really good in large trash pulls that don't last long but need to die fast. Also, make Titan's damage just below Garuda's.

I've run into a few of these in bird farm parties. All the you can really do is either kick them or nag about what a bad decision it is until they switch.

Just kick 'em and move on, if they're in a 50+ dungeon and are using Titan, they know what they're doing. Wanna use Titan? Go run PotD, it's pretty great there.

If Garuda could only be replaced by Emerald or say hypothetically Leviathan in the future, then they only have to make 5 animations for Levi-egi instead of 15.
I'm worried that with the current system as is Levi-egi will have no animations and will just be chucking fire around.

That is a great point actually, now im nervous with what will become of the whole system in the future. Hopefully they get it right since many of us are really tired of what we have now as summoners.

Nah srsly tho, I understand wanting titan to be more useful, but if it comes at the cost of his current purpose I feel like it wouldn't be worthwhile. I really dislike that Garuda is pretty much the only egi worth using in most cases, but I feel like if that were going to change, it already would have.

just went through the animations for the egis and carbys...
carby has 3 unique skill animations,
'Ruda has 4? unique skill animations, enkindle seems to be shared.. if not, its very similar and gets lost in the particle effects
Ifrit has 5 unique skill animations,
Titan has 5 unique skill animations,

So assuming we get a levi glamour, I might assume they will only make 5 animations tops anyway and share them across the egis, not make 15 slightly different animations across every egi.

If you mean levi as it's own egi period, I have a hard time seeing them have more than 5 skill animations at all unless we get more egi skills

My upper time limit of patience is five minutes of tanks emoting at each other instead of pulling before I egi pull
