That makes no sense...The Garo event and the yokai event didn't make any sense. None of this works.

HOWEVER! Could White Mage get Thor's hammer as a weapon?

Would the Iron Man suit be tank gear, or (with Elixir Field in mind) Monk gear? With the reskinned version of it (the Warmachine suit) being the Machinist's?

There's just soooooo many ways to go wrong with this that are just soooo right.

We've already set a precedent for immersion breaking events, so why not?

It wouldn't but they already showed that doesn't matter when they put yokai in. If whm gets the hammer I will never play another class. Dude.

I would like to see this, but only if the gear from the event looks like those plastic bag drugstore costumes.

I sort of want this. I know i shouldnt, its weird and out of place in Eorzea..I could use another sentai event though. I am sad that i missed it. I need some ranger glamour.

Well we already had yokai and garo among other out of place stuff. But there hasn't been precedent of any "eidos" franchise event yet(omg square get them to work on a new Soul Reaver game forget about this avengers nonsense)

I like FFXIV. I like the MCU.

But by the Twelve, please, no. I like my Eorzea consistent with its own lore and the greater FF universe. I don't want to see Steve Rogers in Gridania, it'd just break my whole view of the game world.

Some effort was put into making Yokai and Garo make sense in the lore, I guess it helps that I'd never heard of either before the cross-over events either. Avengers though, bit of a step too far I think.

That said, Iron man suit and Thors hammer as flying mounts would be epic!

Avenger was a pretty cool job in D&D 4.0. Sort of a light-armored dps paladin.
