Looks like both Aether and Primal took a poop. :P Though I was able to get back in just a bit ago.

Servers still seem to be up. On Balmung everyone I was with got kicked, but I did not. One of my friends got back online now as well. So I guess it didn't completely explode this time.

They didn't completely explode last time, either. At least not at first. It was a little later that the serves began crashing completely. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if we ended up getting more emergency maintenance within the next few hours.

I didn't get kicked either last night, but everyone on the map with me in GS has that disconnected sign for like a few seconds.
