Improvements for forming a party via PF, DF, RF

Good day

Right now in PF we have only 2 kinds of option-rules of forming a party:
1) ilvl (= or higher)
2) class

"I can form a party and I have a right to set a certain ilvl and noone can demand to lower it. You havnt such ilvl, you cant join. Find another group, if you want". Is it fair? Fair enough. By seting a high ilvl we hope, that players will have a good DPS at least. But does it really work? Does the good ilvl means good DPS? No, not at all. We set a high ilvl, but we cant be sure, that the player can "show" a proper DPS, suitable for his ilvl.

That is why I offer to add more options for tunning the PF searching of a group.These options (can be realized via the check boxes like now ilvl) can be based on the information of achievements. What kind of achievements?
1) You destroyed the training dummy of a primal or Savage in the Hinterlands. Got achievement "Yes, you did it". At least you will be sure, that this player can show some kind of a dps). Of course such an achievement will be good only for DPS, because healers must heal and tanks must tank)

also can be a special option for a farm parties. You check it and only real farmers will be able to join. How it can be realized?
2) Achievements for clearing the fight 1,3,5 times. So, you check the options "only 3+ kills" and to your party will be able to join only those, who cleared this fight 3+ times

I think, that such options will lower the conflicts between low skill players and high skill, because the party forming with such options will a little, but separate them

I think you have to be careful about adding more and more ways to qualify or specify a group in these environments. The more options and ways to categorize DF/PF/RF groups, the smaller the pool of groups to choose from becomes. Ultimately you could have dozens of groups in game waiting for players, but because of one option or another, no one is available to the other groups that are waiting and everyone continues to wait, and then the game appears barren of players because they never get a group.

I understand that, but it is the care of the player, who decided to make a group. He wants to make more filters? He can. Does he understand, that he can wait for a long time? Yes. It is his right to use filters or not to use at all or to use only some of them. Right now it works with the ilvl setting

Does an ability to kill training dummy without any mechanics mean, that he will still have good dps while doing mechanics? No, not at all. So we are kind of still there

It means at least, that the player knows how to smash the buttons and knows the rotations. It is a good measure and it shows, that a player is not a total potato. So you are wrong. OF course in the battle dps will differ, but still

In my clan I have a player, who push almost all the skills by mouse on the screen (dragoon main). Im sure you can imagine his dps. He was unable to destroy the Savage 6 dummy for a VEEEERY looong time

So, once again. The dummy destruction doesnt show, that a player is a super monster, but at least shows, that he knows what to do by his class and he is not a potato

I'd like the training dummy thing. Just to make sure the person can at least do an ok rotation.

I'd say it's infinitely more likely that they'll do good dps than someone who can't do good enough dps even without any mechanics.

I agree with a stone, sky, and sea optional requirement, mainly because it was a system that was implemented in the game. I definitely judge my DPS off of it, and I don't even attempt a raid or EX if I can't pass it. Playing with other DPS's who has done the same can definitely be encouraging.

I do believe it should be optional though.

Be careful what you wish for OP, you might find yourself quickly unable to join parties.
These kinds of suggestions would most likely be seen as SE supporting an elitists agenda against the majority of the player base. That can not happen.
We have the tools already for this. It's in the 'comments' section of a PF. If people choose to join when they don't meet the requested requirements, they'll either get caught, booted, and possibly B-listed, or they'll shine like a skillful star and get away with it. SSS dummies would do nothing, as you can overgear them. i245 can clear A12S dummy if a person knows their job. Since most players are above that at on their mains, no SSS dummy can be used reliably to show adequate job knowledge. You might as well use that line of reasoning to make the Hall of the Novice a requirement to join Sastasha story mode. But then we have Jump Potions coming, and jobs that already start at level 30/50 etc.

As for your suggestion about checking achievements, the only content in the game that is difficult enough to even warrant that sort of player filtering is located in the raid finder. And it already has a setting to require previous completions. Unless you wait to make a PF for example...Bismarck Extreme and only allow people who've cleared it 10 times. In which case you wouldn't be in the party yourself, despite the high likelihood that you could 1 or 2 shot it with no previous knowledge of the fight in a group of randoms.

You're right that it doesn't, but at least its one less thing that anyone would have to worry about.

If a person can't get the required damage in a controlled environment, then I definitely cannot instill any trust in you that you'd be able to put out good damage while dealing with mechanics.

But if you can at least get the damage on the training dummy, then I would feel like I can take the chance that you'd be able to do with mechanics once you learn them.

As for a farming achievements, I think, that it is not too balanced in my idea. I mean a player with one kill is still not a farmer- maybe he was lying all the fight. But 5 kills- too much. I think, that my idea about 1,5,10 kill achievements can be changed on 1,3,5
