I got booted when I changed area and when I logged back on, I got to sit through another 1000 person queue.
Seems like it :(
Just stay off for now, once you finish your queue you get d/ced again.
...and after sitting through a 10 minute queue, I got a "Connection with the server was lost. 10105"
Yep, Aether is down. Everybody I can contact via Discord is getting 90k and 10k.
Edit: Looks like its the zoning bug, if you don't transfer zones, you stay online.
my two day offs for the week spent with crashed server downs and maintenance
Just happened to me right after my 10th feast win. I'll be so mad if I didn't get the garo achievment and mount!
Was leaving a feast match when I got disc. Been trying to log in but I get an error everytime!
I thought it was 10 and 10! = ( . At least queues have been instant.
Yeah, seems inevitable. Coeurl player here: Can't change zones without getting kicked out and unable to get back in.
This is poo poo.
I think it's about time SE just.....does as much hours as needed and work on fixing things properly. All this lag, these DCs are getting on my nerves. :( I am sure Aether people wouldn't mind having as long as needed maintenance. XD
I just finished WT too......
wake me up (wake me up inside)
My fifth try logging in and I get error 10105 "connection with server was lost."
WHAT THE MOOGLE?!
"Sloppay."
I have attempted many times, a few went through, only for that to happen to me as well each time. I don't think anyone can connect to Aether servers right now... Only those not booted or haven't logged off can still play in them.
I should also mention my connection is usually "Excellent" but now it is "Poor" and it isn't my internet.
My friend just sent me this. It seems to be getting worse.

Why does SE hate us so much?
@JinnRemona No it's already as bad as possible. Any worse and it really will be a complete crash.
Also I'm done trying to login. I'll just play Skyrim until SE fixes this.
You guys know what this means right?

Does it have anything to do with the Cross World Party Finder? Are the servers really able to handle that? I don't recall having this much trouble with any patch prior to this one.
I was in duty for grinding my Relic and just got out of A4N ... Still can't log in, it keeps telling me the queu's around 70-150 and then pretends to connect and loads but then kicks me out with "Lost connection to server." message...
I know a lot of people will be against this. But, SE really needs to start compensating their players. In some way or another. This crap is utterly ridiculous. SE should be getting their act together better than this. People are losing raid nights. People are not going to be caring about this game if we don't get something after all this nonsense downtime.

My exact feels when I try to log in
Constantly getting "server is full" and being placed in que with over 1200 people. Ticks down to 0, goes to log in then disconnects. The RARE chances you do get in, instantly DC'd soon as you leave the area....
This has got to be the sloppiest post-patch stability I've ever seen. Absolutely disgusting.
Blizzard used to credit you for stuff like this on WoW. But I don't need the money... just get this fixed pls!
Speaking of maintenance.
Quote:
In order to address ongoing technical difficulties, we will be performing emergency maintenance on all Aether data center Worlds at the time below, during which players will be unable to access those Worlds.

wtf with this nonsense, aether being unstable since the new patch come out
30+ hours of Server Down this week for Aether. :v
Personally I think half the problem with the server crashes is because of the temp players, you know the ones that only show up when a new patch has come out. Seems we experience this every time a patch is released and I know there is a lot of players that only play the game when new content comes out then disappear again when they've done all the new content and have farm all the new gear. The rest of the player base that do log on regularly everyday and every month are the ones that get punished cause the temp players are over loading the data center and the servers.
LOL this reminds me of the bus system in my city. I commute to work on an express bus and feel the same way every time it snows and suddenly there are a huge group of new people on the bus, congesting it, forcing people to stand. I call them snow bussers. They only take the bus when it snows, otherwise they drive, and the regulars are the ones who feel the pain.
I don't think casual players are to blame at all.
If it were just casual players suddenly showing up, there would just be a bigger queue to get in, not a complete mess up of the program.
I wonder if they could just add in an extra day or two of play time for everyone because of all this? It would be nice of them. I'm glad they're addressing this so quickly, though!
