to whoever put the rock in idyllshire

do you even play final fantasy? because if you did, you'd know that's where people pose. and that rock is really blocking my view

People can pose to the sides of the rock... Or just stop showing off like they're special snowflakes.

When you say Rock, do you mean a character that AFKs there or an actual in-game object?

I have not yet unlocked Idyllshire and kinda am missing all the fun.

Yeah I don't like that rock either, it's where I afk and now I can't be in the middle to look at Cheepchix anymore.

The only legitimate criticism of this addition I will accept is the fact that it is too small.

I honestly can't believe people are upset by this... Does showing off your character to people who may not necessarily care really mean that much to you; so much as to actually have the gall to complain about an aesthetic addition? Honestly... our community is better than that.

Its like the tree that in Mor Dhona used to be called "The Elitist Tree" before it was removed.

It's not a big deal. It was pretty obvious that Idyllshire was going to be updated steadily over time so that shouldn't come as any major surprise. You can either find a new spot to show off or just realise that most people aren't as heavily invested in stroking egos as the sort of players who spend much of their downtime between instances trying to be seen and fawned over.

What rock? Pictures please?

I'm gonna miss lalafell ledge but honestly 90% of my screenshot folder is of that ledge so now it's time to reflect on the good times that we had. I mean we will find another place to stand but it just won't feel the same.

I'm disappointed that I can't jump on top of the rock :(

I'd rather look at the rock than most of the people that AFK there.

I'm just not sure if I should laugh or cry with this thread even being a thing...the rock is not WHERE people used to afk, it's in front of that. Literally nothing is stopping you from standing in the exact same spot as before. You are even still super visible all throughout Idyllshire, so seriously, what's the problem?

We used to afk on the crystals back in Mor Dhona, and they just vanished completely, we used to afk on the big rocks all around Idyllshire and they vanished too. Your platform isn't even gone, it just got surrounded by prettier things and you dare to whine D:
Things change, that's just how life is. If you don't like that place anymore, find a new place to afk at.
