Request: Point Loss for Leaving Queue

Hello everyone,

I'd like to propose a change when using Light Party Feast Queue. The change is quite simple.

As many of you already know, Light Party Feast is abused by win trading. This leads to easy, free rewards at the end of the season and is literally impossible to stop by the players themselves. I've considered posting about the removal of rewards, but instead, I think the first approach to this problem should be either 1 of two things.

1) An automatic loss for declining, taking away points and giving the enemy team an automatic win.

OR

2) Let the game continue, like it does in frontlines, and pulls only those in that took the Queue pop. This would at least allow a team to try to win even if one of their partners AFK'd during the Queue.

Please consider implementing one of these features. It would greatly improve people abusing win trading, but unfortunately not stop it. (This type of thing can never be 100% stopped.)

LP also needs one of these two things:

3) a state system like potd:. You can register two teams and you have rankings with both of those teams, if you play with other people than those teams you have to delete the state and you lose your ranking

Or

3) Only gain points based on individual rating and not team rating. IE a plat would only gain +5 points while playing with a bunch of silvers who are getting +20 points. This would make it way harder to boost compared to the current state of LP.

Right now, being in a "light party" is worse than just being a solo player that plays with unranked alts. You shouldn't be punished for playing the game mode as intended.

I also think the time restrictions they talked about way back in 3.2 need to be added to LP. The queue should only be open a few hours a day unless the population greatly increases.

#1 makes wintrading faster and more efficient, so that's not a good idea.
#2 also makes wintrading easier. They just decline it, wait for that team to be inside the instance and then re-queue to get who they want.

The only way to actually fix wintrading is to report it to the GM team and have them actually do something about it (lol)... Or keep an eye on them and queue when they are. Eventually they'll accept pop and then you can hand out the punishment yourself. feelsgoodman.

or have it automatically pull you in the game. like theres a qeue pop yes but instead of people clicking accept they sre given a timer and when that timer is up you all go in even if u have some afk.
so even if its your wintrading buddies or not you have to fight. also to add to this thete should be a warning stating that all matchmaking is final and will be automatically accepted by both parties.

Just remove all rewards from light party and no random people will ever que for it except true pvpers just for fun (which should be their main reward tbqh).

That was the way SE wanted to implement it in the first place, and look what happened when they changed their mind after petitions. A wintraders and tomefarmers galore.

There should be rewards for party ranking but SE should be more firm on wintraders and put more stuff in place to stop it from happening.

This is why custom matches was put in place, to have fun without any retaliation to ranking.

Custom matches are not well designed, both parties need to be on the same server for example. Spectacor mode is dead on arrival. And results don't reflect on PvP achievements, if I participate in any activity I'd like to have some record of it.

Sorry, I thought F U N was the main reward.

Main, but there can by secondary too which doesnt affect anything, like achievements.

Right now, Light Party gets:

1) Lore
2) Scripture
3) Wolf marks
4) Ratings
5) Ranked Mount
6) Ranked Minion
7) Housing item
8) Fun
9) The Feast Achievements
10) Ranked achievements
11) Season vouchers
12) Fenrir pups

And custom match gets only

1) F U N.

Isn't that a little bit not fair?

Complete agree Slib - here's a few other suggestions I had from another post awhile ago. One of the biggest issues is how they award points, and how you can boost one guy up and basically can't even make the top spot unless you do, this should be addressed as well.

Also good luck hacking during a official tournament with everyone watching.

Until these changes get made the rankings mean literally nothing
