image url upload I know most people say fans, but I think this wand would be cool! I'm not sure how it works, but if it were in game, the lore would be easy to write. SE could just make it a magical voice amplifier. I would also really love to see Yunas songstress garb.

If you want it happen at least put the male dancer as well, as sexy as female dancer too :rolleyes:

The demand for that Job is way too huge since ARR, if not, they might surprise us inbetween of Bloodstorm if not so in 5.0, who knows.

Not like they promised a lot of stuff or said "No" to stuff and it happened anyway!

How do you know, are you part of the dev team? Unlikely it will be part of 3.0 but no one knows what SE has planned for future expansions beyond 4.0

I reckon Dancer will come someday, the question will be, what role is it going to be? I want it to be a healer, since I am used to Dancer being a class that does status debuff/buff and some white mage spells, but since Red Mage is going to be pure dps, one has to wonder, will Dancer be pure dps aswell?

Yeah a good buddy of mine will kill for dancer. He likes that femboy look.

For the love of all that is right...do not over-buff.

If they put in dancer I hope its a dps dagger/blade melee with various dances that give PT buffs and mob debuffs.

Hehe I am not sure why dancer would sing, that is Songstress...wouldn't this singing stuff be more of a bard thing?

Songstress and Dancer are pretty much equivalents. I'd like to see them combined together for something unique, like Time Mage & Gamblee did to make Ast.

I think they were calling out the irony that you would mention dancer at all since what they said was exactly what you said in a previous post where people were talking about possible jobs...either that or you just happen to get the same response you gave to other people talking about dancer...which is still ...ironic >.>

In my opinion Songstress is too close to Bard. Both using music to buff etc and also Songstress was female only so...what would male be? Rocker?

Dancer seems better off to actually use Dancing to buff not music so a microphone or microphone + stand doesn't seem to fit....the clothes from FFX-2 are nice though.

At this point I've conceeded to the idea that RDM and BLU will be dps for 4.0. In 5.0 we'll get DNC healer and SAM tank.

It was someone elses thread about "expansion theories"...theories aren't spreading misinformation.

Anyway it was just an idea why they might have posted it. You contradict yourself a lot and I think it confuses a lot of people, including me. So it also causes some unfortunate irony....

Well I personally just cannot make sense of you posting a dancer topic. Every time someone else even mentioned dancer (even if only speculation) you would post things like I quoted and in general be a debbie downer about it.

It seems contradictory to me that you would now make your own topic doing the same thing you would try to shut other people down for doing. Don't have to agree if you don't want to though. It is still really confusing behavior though which is why you might be getting some people giving you "flack" as you called it.

Sure most of us think perhaps the girl in Red "may" be Monk, but other then reddit or other people it has yet to be said by a real source... Reddit is not a source i would believe, lol
There are still aspects that could resemble dancer. Put out a pull and i am almost certain Dancer would come before blu for ffxiv.
The misinformation is misinformation of people thinking those misinformed are misinformed, next fan fest will clarify everything.

Would love the Dancer from XI, maybe not playstylewise but It was fun af with all the crits and fast paced

I sure dancer will as i am beastmaster too remember yoshi p did ff11 jobs will evenaulty port over.

Yeah Feb fan fest can't come fast enough lol.

Yoshida did say in 3.5 we would learn more about the red girl too...so maybe next week :)

You post discussion threads quite often on this board. People are, understandably, going to remember past threads - especially if you end up becoming very passionate over specific issues. Not every query or critique of your past or present posts/threads is a personal attack.

As for DNC being a thing? Eh, I'm not really a fan of the idea. BRD is already difficult for many people to stomach due to how overly feminine some of the animations and gear sets are. It doesn't fit everybody's vision of how their character would fight - thus alternative sets of animations would be beneficial. The same can be said of something like DNC.

If they were prepared to offer more masculine animations and gear sets, though, then I'd be all for its inclusion. Though I won't hold my breath when most of the existing dances in this game are very feminine in their animations or just plain silly. There's no apparent love for something thats formal, graceful but still fairly 'masculine'.
