[REQUEST] A new Job-based emote.

I love the two we have now (battle and victory) they are easily 2 of my favorite emotes. But I want to be greedy and ask for one more SE.

/actionpose

Basically just like the two we have, a quick non-perpetual emote that is unique based on the weapon in your hand. Each would be a non-flashy lights version unique attacks of each job.

/actionpose per Weapon
Sword + Shield - Bulwark
Bow - "Song" animation
Staff (BLM) - Casting animation
Staff (WHM) - Casting animation
Greatsword - Shadow Wall
Greataxe - Decimate
Spear - Jump
Book - Writing in book "Summon Pet" animation
Claws - Demolition
Cards - "Draw Card" animation
Gun - Spread Shot
Knives - Murata animation


Entirely for no more a reason then it would be fun to have. And like I said no flash, so for example the PLD doing it would be the lunge shield forward animation of Bulwark, but none of the light bubble or flash of the true skill.

the problem with this is that the song animation doesnt include your weapon and the harp is always the same, would be unfair for BRD/ARC that their weapon wont show while the others get to with their /actionpose

but yeah there's nothing wrong with getting more emotes so why not :P

What is murata animation?

I posted in the emote request thread we saw a while ago and the idea I put forth received the most likes in the thread. But I will add that I agree with the OP in the sense that more weapon based/job based emotes are definitely something that I want to see.

i know what you mean but unless they give us bards an actual harp to use as a main/offhand our /actionpose would be confined to archer animations in order to show the weapon.

as for your question, i'd want it to be simple, like when you use the bow when you cast a weapon skill with WM on

Job emotes like what Final Fantasy XI has.
