Does anyone even use the teleporters in Azys Lla?

Or do you just fly to where you need to go, even though it takes longer?

I just fly. But most the time I don't even use the mini aetheryte In towns. Usually find its quicker to run than to play roulette and hope I clicked the right one.

They were designed to use before flight. You could use them if you wish, but flying is much faster (obviously).

I've considered setting up assorted "footrace" events with my FC where the people aren't allowed to mount and must kill anything they aggro, which could be fun, but not practical, of course.

Doesn't take longer to fly for me. Those loading screens take a bit to get through.

I mean if you need to get to the other side and load times are good, I'd imagine it may be slightly quicker, may be worth checking out.

There are teleporters there? I didn't know that! I just fly or run. I better go there and unlock them.

You already did if you did main story. It's how you get around before you unlock flying in Azys Lla.

The better question is, does anyone even go to Azys Lla?

Loads - very common to see gatherers there, hunters & also those hunting mobs for the drops.

I wish there were treasure map locations there, and more sidequests. It really is the most underutilized zone in the expansion, and possibly the whole game.

I rarely go there. Only for hunts and if there is a new relic quest. But to answer your question, I just fly because its too much work to dismount walk up to the teleporter, hit a button wait for load screen and then end up having to get back on my mount to get to the actual destination.

I thought those were just quest things. I didn't know they were still available and active.

Only the first time for the MSQ.
Now I just fly around.

I don't remember the last time I was in, or needed to go to, the Gamma Quadrant. The other two islands are close enough to fly to without it mattering enough to teleport. Especially if I am in DF.

They were a fun bit of flavor for lore and short cut-scenes, but of course I never used them again once flight was available.
