Yoshi P vs Warriors of Light?

Do you think Yoshi P (Wandering Minstrel) should have an ingame trial in the future? In my opinion I would love to battle him someday because he's a pretty awesome guy. Make him a superboss that would be difficult to beat even with undersize parties.

If it does become possible I think it might be when our adventure comes to an end or if he retires (the latter unlikely at the time) but I think it would be cool to battle him.

That would be an interesting trial to say the least. Wandering Minstrel: Extreme.

FF15 will have a dlc where you fight the SE president, so it'll be kinda fun (or frustrating) to fight the Wandering Minstrel. But what would be the rewards though?

I don't think so. Yoshi P would have GM abilities that makes him invulnerable and instant KO.

I think that first, it's important to divorce the idea of the Wandering Minstrel from Yoshi. The Wandering Minstrel is an avatar for Yoshi P, but more than anything else he is a role played by Yoshi to give thanks to the players. The Minstrel himself has no power that we have seen in the past, though he does take inspiration from the Warriors of Light. Suddenly turning him into a superpowered boss and having him fight the Warriors of Light would be jarring and out of place.

I do think it could be reasonable to fight Yoshida in a special event of sorts though, separate from the plot and with a grain of satire. Having Naoki Yoshida fight the Warriors of Light on his own terms would be very interesting. He plays a Black Mage, so it would be an interesting idea to go up against a super-powered caster able to cast Meteor at will. It would be fun to brainstorm ideas of how to introduce the ideas of a God in the game by introducing existing strategies in new and exciting ways while referencing older battles. The fight against the SE President in FFXV is an interesting addition as well.

It may be no more than a pipe dream, but it's a cute dream to think about.

The Wandering Minstrel is a primal we made. And he enters the fight on top of the Skybear.

I want it to happen at some point.

The power of the Minstral's songs does great things to one WoL's imagination. We just need to give him some more stories so he can make a new song combining everything we have fought into one song...then let the WoL imagination take over.

He would win because he sings songs and most Bards do not.

I wouldn't mind beating the crap out of em. Housing, rngesus, PvP, hallways, ritual dance-like boss mechanics, I think it'd be an amusing trial that I wouldn't mind running 9999 times just for fun.

I am still waiting for the Godbert trial aswell.

I would love to see this in the game maybe Yoshi-P himself could join in the battle as well. I would also love to battle the Manderville family as well.

True, but if my character is going to die, I rather have Godbert deal the finishing blow. Afcourse, this will happen after we wtiness Godbert preform suplex on doomtrain.

I don't really like the idea of a Godbert trial personally, but as with any super ultra powerful character they can just have him play in a weakened state. As an example with Godbert it could just be sparring so he doesn't go all in on us.

Or perhaps there could be a God Of RNG battle, Yoshi P being it of course ;)
