ARF gets more because it is a story dungeon, it use to not be a roulette at all, and people use to leave it asap. It is to give people incentive to not leave it. It also takes a while to complete more times than it doesn't.

ARF is actually pretty quick to run if have a good party. Guess you are farming lore for a relic? Otherwise beside needing the amount needed for a relic it just kind of given out like candy.
Gubal's barely more than half, that's pathetic. Antitower gave 100 Esoterics when ARF was 150, why did they make it even worse? They need to increase the diversity in viable Lore farming dungeons.
It's still annoying as a Healer since a chunk of my MP bar is gone and I'm forced to idle for extended periods of time if the tank is healed and I've used up all my DPS spells.
How does one use up all their dps skills? lol
Also, i dont think tis that hard to get lore. As someone who has gotten 4 relics to 240 and another to 230 without grinding, its not that bad.
I get the feeling no matter what is said OP wont like any answers we have.
Oh, on an unrelated note, my Lore has been capped for 2 weeks, and there is nothing for me to spend it on. I mean really SE why don't you have more items for me to spend my Lore on, it's ridiculous; fire some one, XD

I got bored and started adding arrogance to my posts for an expected result.
I mean, if I can put out huge potency damage and still keep everyone alive, Holy spam is worth it. Especially since the pulls are generally 6+ enemies. What else is there to do?

The reason the lore rewards for older lvl 60 dungeons was lowered is because those dungeons aren't ilvl synced making them almost trivially easy and very quick to run. ARF is ilvl synced and offers no gear which is why its lore reward is so substancial.
I don't disagree that ARF is getting boring. I have run it a lot just doing the roulette. Frankly I think the Anima weapon is a little too reliant on lore for progress. It effectively limits your options on what content you can use if you want to grind your relic. However I don't think you would see them just buff all the other dungeons. They lowered those lore quantities for a reason. Realistically I think it would be more likely that they lower ARF's lore rewards than buff the others.
I do think the fact your suffering downtime is strange. I haven't had this problem at all and I do almost every dungeon run at 60 as a WHM. What is your Peity like?
When I want to farm Lores, I queue for Sephirot, Nidhogg and Sophia. I get bonus most of the time. This is not more efficient than spamming ARF, but it's a lot more enjoyable.
So you and the other people strapped for lore are the ones ruining my lvl 60 roulette, and here I thought it was SE the whole time. Damn you OP
Some of then are ilvl synced. Fractal Continuum is definitely ilvl synced. ?Neverreap should be as well? I think those two were paired together for Ex roulette. The difference in tome rewards may come from ARF's lack of loot drops - every lv 60 dungeon but ARF has loot from bosses.
Spamming Cure 2 is the reason your MP depleted, mostly.
If you actually spent more than half a minute reading the thread you'd know that it's because of DPSing. The vast majority of my healing in ARF comes from oGCDs and Divine Seal Regen.

They need to triple or quadruple Fractal Continuum's reward, then. My piety is somewhere between 600-700 when I'm synced and 900+ outside of ARF.
Instead of running ARF all day try doing your daily roulettes plus one ARF run a day. It will make you a lot happier than spamming ARF and dealing with some less desirable pubs all day everyday. It may take a little longer, but you won't lose your hair early!
Relic quests should be nerfed and I hope this kind of tortures will be gone in 4.0. The game needs to change its methods.
That's what I do on most days, but it's still extremely slow progress :P
My mega skilled friends aren't always on to run with me so I'm forced to deal with going oom on second pull because of low group DPS. It's annoyiiiiiiiing.
Good healers use every GCD to its full potential to obtain the highest damage while keeping the team alive. That's what I do, but I can't force the group to kill every pull by my 6th holy. The problem here isn't me. It's the fact that we have next to no other ways to grind lore effectively. My lavender purple genderbent Holly Whyte cosplay's taking FOREVER.
Do you know what it's like, to have a cosplay weapon locked behind a terrible grind? It claws at the mind and makes one desire death upon everyone.
Because there must be something time consuming and grindy to keep you subbed until the next patch. It's that simple. They will nerf it again once they implement something else to to grind for. They need a reason to keep you subbed and run the dungeons again and again. With this way they keep the DF system alive.
That's why most MMOs are dead/dying. They need to attract subscribers with entertaining content, make people want to play because the game is fun.
FFXIV right now is like... "I need to login today, not because the game is fun, but I have to do this and that or else I'm gonna lose today/this week's quotas of stuffs".
They don't have to grind in Overwatch, Counter-Strike, DotA, etc. People play it everyday because it's fun. Try to adapt it into MMO and make people want to keep playing because it's fun. That's what I want to see in 4.0, not the same 450 tomes per week bs and other grindy content.
Maybe you need to find something in the game that isnt just grinding for a relic. I'm still logging in everyday since day 1 (been playing since launch) and i still have fun. I do my dailys and rest of the time i spend time doing palace or other content with my gf and friends, and craft - not cause i need to, cause its fun.
