Still no future for some EU members in this game, no options to add Crysta and stuck with ClickNBuy that rejects all my credit cards, even though it is an active card with verified paypal account.

Just make a gamecard with code that works like top up for prepaid card fffss...
So... EU not getting more payment options? http://bit.ly/snQH5t
Maybe they will when P2P commences, but so far nothing yet.
They only added that for crysta they said they add more payments this fall and they also said they be adding new payment for everyone even EU.
Well until they add new payment options, if they fire out subscription before it, SE will realise then when people are unable to pay due to the shit click-and-buy.
Huh, I have an Eu account and could buy Crystal w/o Click&Buy ages ago, and the option to buy the specified amounts showed up for me today too.
any remember/know how much crysta FFXIV cost/month (full price).
avaiable for me too, and I have Eu acc
I'm EU and have the option.

I'm from germany and have this:

From what I remember (US wise) it was as follows:
*9.99 a month to play the game + 3.00 for your main character which equals the standard 12.99 a month and the first retainer per character is free.
*Every additional character = 3.00 per month
*Every Retainer (after the first one, which as I said, was free according to SE) = 1.00 per month
I don't know if they have (or if they will) changed this, but at the last time they quotes prices that is where it stood.
They better not ask me to pay for that second retainer lol
That's what I am wondering, SE gave us that retainer and gave us that space... I think it would be very rude to all the sudden say 'pay or get rid of stuff' especially knowing that we do have inventory space issues and especially since they said they are taking back some of the extra retainer space (the +50 spots etc) that they gave us when it goes P2P or something like that.
I think they should keep the first two retainers free. Also remember, those prices were quoted a LONG time ago...
Me personally, I think they should just say each character gets X amount of retainers (like two or three) for free and then just cap it, don't even make it a payment option.
I never have heard of a MMO charging for storage, at least in the MMOs I have played... actually I haven't heard of a MMO charging for extra characters other than SE MMO's, usually they just cap the amount you can make on your account. But if I am wrong please correct me on this point.
MMOs, especially F2P MMOs charge for even inventory space, let alone storage. SE's MMOs are different because unlike "standard" MMOs, you're not locked into 1 character, 1 class path, thus unlimited free character selection, in FFXI and FFXIV? You can be anything you want at any time, your character literally is "1 size fits all", thus you have almost zero need for a second character+.
Unless they change payments plans, it's always been a plan to charge people for retainers.
I don't even see the point of debating now. Announcement regarding billing will be made soon, we just have to be patient :)
Well I was not talking about F2P, but I didn't specify so that is my fault. I was mostly talking about P2P MMO's where the player is required to pay X amount per month to log in and play.
Also...
Very true but FFXI was the same way, you could be everything on one. But I knew many people that played multi-characters (including myself), one might be mage focused, one might be fighter focused, maybe another just because they got sick of staring at the same character on a constant basis.
Just because you have a character that is an 'all in one' doesn't mean people don't want to play more than one character for whatever reason they can come up with.
