New Server.

Hi.

Im gona make a new char on a new server,
I heard alot about the server Odin(EU) , is that a good one with alot of ppl or shall i go with the Ragnarok (EU legacy) server? :) .

I first started off on Behemoth and at the time it was not bad,
Odin i honestly know little about, Ragnarok even less

Yes i am from EU.
I been playing on Cerberus and now im looking for a big server. :)

Odins pretty big nowadays also a good server if you're looking to raid.

Odin is busier than Ragnarok I think, we have a busy raid scene too if youre looking for that

Odin is smaller than Ragnarok, but currently slightly ahead on raid clears.
Both servers are very dedicated raid servers though^^

Ragnarok is a fun server, alot of players (one of the most populated EU servers) and great endgame raiding scene. I used to play on Odin few years ago and switched to Ragnarok in 2014, I never looked back.

Odin is dead.
Ragnarok is expensive.
Run away from EU servers.

Odin is deffo not dead. RF pops in 5-10 mins depending on your class.

Odin is good!
Dare to say probably best EU server out there and Ive tried Cerberus (started in 2.0), Ragnarok, Phoenix and lastly the past year and half on odin

Try making new character in the morning, usually character creation is open then.

I have a pal on Odin telling me it's dead, the PF is empty

Lol either we have a different way of viewing a 'dead server' or you pal is lying. PF is always active during eu prime, RF/DF pop pretty fast, even as DPS.
If he plays middle of the night, then yeah i could see its being less active due to the facts its a EU server.

I play between 7pm ST to around 10-11pm ST and its very active these hours.

Ehm...you guys do realize that df and rf are cross-server? Meaning queue times for those are literally the same for every single server on the EU datacenter?

How active a server is can only be judged by the amount of players in the overworld and the number of parties in the pf (and even the pf is soon gonna be cross-server too).

Also, Odin isn't "dead", it's just smaller than Ragnarok. All EU servers are fairly active compared to, for example, most NA servers.

Your pal must play at a quiet hour or something. I mostly play at 8pm ST onwards and PF is always full of parties for raids.

Fair play, PF is also very full though. I have to queue to get online some days even. Earlier zones arn't very busy but the later ones and cities are usually full of players too.
