You didn't have to buy a Fan Fest ticket to hear the date you can pre-order :p. I followed the translation on the FFXIV reddit discord server.

There was a thing about this i can't remember exactly but i'm pretty sure it's late January. IE: soon.

Makes me wonder if there's going to be another debacle like with heavensward. IIRC: You could pre-order the PC non steam version the day they stated. The Steam and PSN versions were available literally days before launch.

Pre orders begin on January 24th 2017

Unless you looking for the collector's edition (which I assume with be SE store only) you can already pre-order from places like Amazon or Best Buy.

I hope they fix the problem with pre-order on PSN this time. Having to nearly miss out on early access for HW was a pain

Hoping for a early Steam preorder.

I got into the game right before 3.1, so I don't know how preorders were handled, but I want- no, need Stormblood in my life :P

If you got the base game from steam you have to buy the expansion from steam as well, if not ,you'll have to get it from SE store, alt least that's how it worked with HW, also HW preorders from steam started really late.

NA got it early, EU was very delayed. We got it on June 19th, same day as early access started. I dont want that again.

Steam's 3.0 preorder was bad. I can't remember the exact time frame, but the preorder cut pretty close to Early Access. I regret ever buying this game on Steam.
