Request for more easily accessible 2 seater mounts in game

If there's one thing I would really like in game is to have an easily accessible two seater mount in game. The reason for this is that I want to help new players reach their destinations quicker, able to escort them and be able to ride it with friends as we go exploring in game.

However, all of the mounts that are 2 seaters are either gotten through an insane grind (2000 mentor roulettes), require real world money (Fat Moogle, Weddings as example) or require with communication with a new person outside of the game and as I haven't met anyone outside the game that's new to FFXIV I'm unable to get the Amber Draught Chocobo for this purpose.

Can we have a more easily accessible two seater mount avaliable in game that can be realistically gotten?

I think IIRC everyone I know with the Amber Draught Choco bought themselves a 2nd copy of the game.
People treat the recruit rewards as expensive cash shop purchases.

We could definitely do with a more reasonably achievable in-game 2 seater.

I wouldn't mind more of them 2 seaters :)

However, there's a topic in the New Player section of the forum, where you can post your recruitment codes. I got my Amber Draught Chocobo that way. It didn't take long either. So that's worth a try. :)

Put your codes in your signature, like mine. That's how I got my Amber Draught Chocobo.

Thanks for the tips. Just did that and I hope you don't mid kind of copying it.

I don't have many friends and the few I have don't play videogames, same with my family so I figured there was no use in trying.

Speak for yourself, I actually recruited friends.

And I did it before they introduced Twintania and Amber, so it was a nice surprise to get those gold chocobo feathers in the mail.

OP, you make a good point, it would be nice if they added a new two seater to one of the achievements that would be accessible to lower level players.

Mogstation > Your Account > Recruit a Friend > Put in your email to get the message with the code.

For OP the marriage mount is easy and cheap to get.

Considering they can't even fix their typo on the mail on it, no wonder people treat it like a cash shop.

It's still $10x2, then you gotta wait for your wedding date.

2-seater mounts are typically prestige/cash/moneysink/recruit items in MMOs though. No reason to make them easy to get.

I wish they would give a airship mount which seats like 4 people 1 drives, 3 others stand on the ship.

Also I thought it was easy?

Well if u search in pf for someone (or ask friends) who need the mount too you can share that so u not having to pay twice and yea no reason to make them easy to get.
