Petition to ban the word "Lackluster" from the forums

I know this is b.s. And It could easily result in everyone that replies to actually use the word.

But I have been getting so tired of people reusing that word in nearly every thread to describe the lack of..... dammit, I'm gonna think of another word than luster.

-Lack of 'presence' that a spell may cast off..
-Lacking in recent updates

Or you can just eliminate coming close to the word 'lack' at all. Use your vocabulary.

-An 'unimpressive' animation with spells
-A deficiency of updates.



Ok.. I'm done, go ahead and say the friggin word in every response now.

eh, people with little mastery of the language will normally use catchwords to describe what they feel (or just jump on the bandwagon, using the catchwords to express concepts that they have no idea about).

Some more examples: modern, user-friendly, unplayable...

"SE should learn to code a modern MMORPG"
"What do you mean?"
"You know! Other MMORPGs are... modern!"
"...".

"Final Fantasy XIV is unplayable!"
"Aren't you playing the game just fine?"
"..."

What, and forego the petition to petition to ban petitions?

By your logic, we need to ban all words that indicate problems with this game, including, but not limited to, cap, level, rank, crafting, battle system, teleport, weapons, armor, content.

If there is a problem, why ignore it?
Should we stop talking about healthcare because its such a big problem and people get offended if your opinion differs from theirs?

they better ban the word "lack of" since this game is lack of everything it should have

Thread is pretty lacking in luster.

I might name my next character Lack Luster

I am in favor of replacing the current translation team at Square Enix

I am in favor of properly organized petitions

I am strongly against signing any petition (I just like seeing people try needlessly so I can laugh at them)

I think we're all trolling the forums because of a lack of XIV.. Next best thing, all that.
