New Animations?

So with all the doom and gloom about changes to abilities and what not, do you think us mages will get better looking spells? Not that they looked bad before but...

Now we have three AoE fire spells. Do you think the AoE will blow up on the target and be big like Ancient magics or will it be like the lame AoE fire pre 1.20? Lol just wondering.

Oh another question. Will other classes be able to equip the AoE spells? THM first two AoE fire spells aren't exclusive just like CNJ AoE Protect spell isn't exclusive. Just noticing some random things.

I want something FFIV/FFXIII/FFIX aga spells for the AoE ones.
Something big, and destructive looking. If you know what I mean.

It hit me a while ago that we might actually have new animations than the same old boring ones. And I do hope they become more creative with them like they did with the GLA and LNC abilities.

Have they said anything about adding more spells? Last time I saw they were removing tiers spells so that means we are only getting 1 of each element spell.

i hate that we have 3 fire spells at all.
i think fire is ugly compared to Ice spells, why cant i have 3 ice spells? why does fire have to the absolute cliche in every friggen game? why does Yoshi want to make mages so western generic?

I tought they said that they will reuse animations for 1.20 and maybe add new/change some in 1.21. So I wouldn't get my hopes high for cool looking combat. It will be probably worse looking than now since there will be less animation diversity.

I don't have the quote on me but it was stated that animations would be re-used for the time being.

Animations for fire 3 probably exist just like thunder 3 (You could see it from high lv mobs casting it), so they coulllldddd use that
