So i just received a party invite from a rmt bot

This is the first time i've seen this and was quite alarmed because my first thought was that this would be a new tactic of theirs to harrass players.

Has this always been a thing or is it something new?.

It's new. There have been a couple of other threads about it in the past few days.

I've gotten one a couple days ago as well.... Haven't seen those party invites since 1.0.

Guess it's time to start using the busy status again :/

I also think waiting in the duty finder blocks party invites too. Queue for something long!

It's rather sneaky as i can't report them either also i've been queued for something and still got them so guess not.

Never got any invit from them o.o im lucky ! For the moment...

Guess it means that the RMT report option is working.

Now we just need the ability to report off of non-chat related things with a quick couple of clicks and everything will be great.

It doesn't, sadly. Instead, accepting a party invite cancels the queue.

either way looks like we're finally pushing back hard to make em this desperate :P
a few more push's and ff14 will be too money burning to spam anymore =^-^=
