This has probably been listed countless times, but ClickAndBuy is one of the most horrible services around. Since SE has kept the game free for the entire span of the year I can't access my ClickAndBuy account anymore and the original email address I had used was changed when my ISP service swapped ownerships. So now I'm locked out of the account and I get nothing but errors claiming my card information is invalid despite checking it down to every detail. I know this is an issue with ClickAndBuy, not you guys... But seriously, just to change my freaking information I have to fax them my ID and other crap. Yeah, great if I had a fax machine. Please consider using a different service.
If I have to rely on paying in Crysta when this game starts to pay I might just look elsewhere for a new game. Not that I hate using Crysta, but I'd rather just set it to charge each month and forget about having to remember to do it manually. Not to mention from stories I've heard from other people, they had a nightmare just signing up for that awful service to begin with and some can't even get it set up period.
EDIT: As an update to why Click and Buy wasn't working for me I found out the reason... After discovering problems with my debit card I confirmed that it's actually because this company triggered a fraud warning on my card when I tried to use it, and locked down my card. Just more proof as to why C&B is a bad idea...

Agree, this is one thing I hate about continuing to play FFXIV because of ClicknBuy. What I don't understand is you guy are a Multi - Billion Dollars Company and you can't even do a direct billing system like in FFXI? Seriously? Even a low budget Company can do their own billing system. Why rely on a third Party Company to do your billing system.
People never heard of ClicknBuy before. They want an efficiently and easy way to pay without going through all the trouble. ClicknBuy is so horrible. You have to verify all this crap information and fax in your driver license, bank account and all this stuff just to setup payment. Then they take money from you to make sure it is valid.
Please do a Google for ClickNBuy and you hear all horrible story from them. And if you forgot your email address your account is gone. It is really hard to get back and their support is slow. And guess what? You cannot delete your Account, they say it will in inactive only but they keep all your information. If you don't believe me ask them to Cancel your account and delete all information in their system and see what they say...Bottom line is ClickNBuy must be gone! -

Agree I have not done research on them yet but form what I keep hearing it sounds pretty horrible. I just don't like it because it's weird and I have never heard of it. I thought I remember hearing Se was working on getting rid of the service.

.....You can enter a set amount of Crysta now. I also believe they said they were setting up a way for set charges at each period. Not sure if that he been released yet or not.

ClickAndBuy is the European version of PayPal. And like PayPal... it can be a pain in the ass. If you are going to use a service like PayPal or ClickAndBuy... use a Credit Card (not debit) so you are protected should you do something stupid like loose your email and make no attempt to resolve the issue by contacting them. -

I agree. C&B is terrible.
I can't understand why not using Paypal. IMO if they want to stick with C&B then they should, at least, add more payment options to those not willing to use C&B since crystas aren't availble worldwide.
If i could i'd just buy crysta directly from them with some "automatic renew system" so i wouldn't need to go there to buy crystas every month...just setting it to buy like 6000 crystas every 6 months would be good enough IMO. -

I've had the same issue with Click and Buy triggering fraud alerts on my account and getting the card locked.
I will say that given the issues with accounts being stolen by rmt and other creepy sorts it makes sense for SE to use a billing service that keeps your financial data completely separate from the user accounts. -

And why the Japanese region can pay directly to them, but not the other regions? If SE wanna develop and run a game in multi-regions, then they need to treat them equally as well. If SE can't bill us directly, then should take away direct billing for the Japanese as well and force them to use clickandbuy for their only methods in auto payment plan. :o I really wanna see how the Japanese react to it lol I bet they might actually burn down SE HQ. :p
