Warning: This is not an item addition thread. I am against the cash shop and it's ridiculous prices.
Why SE? Why does everything you sell need to be in a bundle? A set?
How many of you out there simply wanted one piece out of a set? But then you are hit with that $10, $15, $18, etc, wall?
No SE. I do not want Y'shtola's coat or tights, or hair. I want the dang boots. Maybe, you could've made money off me if you just sold the boots for $3.75. But no. I'd have to buy all 4 pieces for $15. So nope! Lost a customer!
How many of you would just want the Thancred coat for $3.75? The Witch's Gloves for whatever they amount to? The Chinese/Korean top for $4.50?
Even if 5 people bought the Y'shtola Attire and gave $75 total. Imagine how much better it would be if you have separate orders going with what people actually want!
If I'm at McDonald's and I want a burger, I'm not going to buy the burger/fries/drink bundle. I'm going to buy the burger. Don't have it? Watch my money go out the door. Logic.
I don't like the cash shop but it isn't going to go away. So can we at least have an easier time with it??

Agree with this: I bought the Y'shtola gear too but mostly because I actually want her haircut, but now I'm stuck with a set that can't even be dyed and put into the armoire. Wasted space.

They either quit or get fired cause food service might not be a physically stressful job but it is mentally. I worked at Culvers and they had basket and snack packs (snacks were smaller cheaper version) and people would order X basket and I would tell them the price, what you charging me too much it should be X price, oh that the snack pack you order the basket. Every fast food place around here simply asks if I want the value meal or sandwich alone. That's not rude or difficult and it clarifies things. And, as a customer, you can just say, "No thanks, I just want the burger."
But, as for the petition, yes please. I bough the Y'shtola set for the hair, and felt like I needed to make a vanity around the outfit to feel like I didn't waste my money. -

I can kinda see it but in a way its also one of those "tempting" deals, sure if you can't get a burger alone 1 place most people have another option down the block but when it comes to this, you only have one place. Either you'll never crack and buy it or temptation will overcome you and you purchase it just for it alone.

As in your example of $3.75 per item, expect it to be more along $5 or $6 a piece. I agree with the bundle split, but you know what else would be great? An option to try them on in game. A lot of MMOs have that option, why can't XIV? I've been looking at Thancred's hair but I have NO idea how it would look on me. I don't want to drop money on it and it turns out it looks terrible.
