Catching up on Aether?

I've been queueing constantly in the Feast for over a week now, and I'm not all that well on my way to catching up to the leaderboards despite a pretty good win ratio.

Anyone else having a bad time with the queue?

I'm waiting over half an hour most of the time, and it's brutal.

The only way you are going to catch up at this point is if you continue to play and others stop, which is more than feasible.

I'm at 300 and 100th is 1000, the gap seems to be getting wider despite my best efforts. Though with the drop off in players in the next few weeks, queues will just get worse, no?

Ah, season 3 ends in like 2 1/2 months. Im pretty sure you got plenty of time to catch up.

Got +800 in 1 day as Monk, what are you queueing as? I hear Tank and Ranged queues are bad on Aether.

I'm a Warrior, so that would make sense actually.

It's 5 PM on a Friday night and it's still 30+min wait.

Try queing as a healer or melee dps. Even if you don't play them as well, you could learn it in the fast que times you get. Ignore everyones whining if you mess up.

I'm wary to go on my DRG because I've spent all my action points in WAR, and WAR is what I have a PvP weapon and gear for. Uuuugh.

30+ min on a Saturday morning/noon.

If you didn't know you can reset those points at anytime. You are even able to save presets for those points for each job as well. So that's not really a reason to not switch to DRG if you really wanna play it. Nor the gear really considering how low the ilvl is in PVP making it supremely easy to gear a job for it. Also PVP is already a very niche activity in this game so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the queues are dead at early hrs. They mostly pick up in the later afternoon/evening.

I wait 30+ on queues

I just started on Aether and managed around 35ish games in 2 days for ranged during the weekend so I guess that's pretty good? The queues aren't terrible. Maybe you're just queig at the wrong times when they are significantly longer than usual.

Looking at Aether the bottom 100 already has 1100 rating, looks like you might need 1600-1700 points by the end of 3.55 to be in the top 100.

It's so hard to climb lost like 7 matches today sigh

I know man the points are better, just venting about my day today. Plus I'm no top notch whitmage :/

Got 1000 in 5 days as smn, que time is pretty long like 20-45min in evening

So don't think that's hard to catch up, but not really sure about that since i didn't que these few days

That's awesome, I play summoner and I'm almost silver. I'm either getting matched bad or I'm under performing. So I switched back to Bard for now.

Yea... Been feasting since a few days after it started.. Only Rating: 200... The 30-45min queues really kill the zeal

I'm not saying that win trading with fixed parties are pushing people up the ranks, but I'm also not not saying that. Good luck with getting on the leader board!
