PvP Feather Items usable in PvE please?

I cannot remember what their names are but they are those feathers you get early in 2.1 story. They are a consumable and refresh TP to the user. But, they are locked to PvP.. Except now in PvP, sprint no longer uses TP so these feathers are 100% useless being in the game period.

However if they could be used in PvE, they would be a godsend!

We already are having TP issues and there's no way to replenish besides a BRD/MCH or NIN. They aren't always around and a BRD/MCH may need the DPS to clear a fight. Magic users have a way to replenish their MP via skills, other classes AND consumables. Why not make that an option for TP-users now?

All they need to do is remove the PvP requirement.. Real simple.

PSA: level lancer to 22 and cross class Invigorate that's what it's used for. Accessible to ALL physical DPS(nin, mnk, drg, brd, mch). That is all.

But yeah, TP is no longer depleted from using Sprint so there is no point using it in PvP, especially with Invigorate as an option.

Except tank classes do not get that option, so they must rely on Goad, Equilibrium in Deliverance (WAR), or Blood Weapon in Darkside (DRK), there is no way to profit from TP regen outside of downtime and those skills.

Which leads me nicely onto Paladin, which has absolutely zero way to recover their own TP aside from downtime. (I don't count Goad in that as it's a party member using it on you)

PSA: Invigorate is often not enough! Magic-Users have Shroud Of Saints(WHM), Aetherflow, Energy Drain(SCH/SMN), That Luminous AST move, Ewer(AST), Convert, Umbral Ice MP(BLM) AND medicines like Ethers.

All melee has is Invigorate that gives only 400TP which is nothing.

Melee runs out of their resources probably 3x as early as magic.

I agree, as a PVPer I never run out of tp so I always forget I even have these feathers and they just clog my inventory. Making them work outside of pvp would be great for MNKs who even with invigorate run out of tp without a support as well as tanks.

And as has been mentioned it's in the same vein as mages having ethers, I wouldn't even mind if the effect of the feather had to be lowered for it because it's better than the nothing they are now.

While we're on the subject, an item to remove pacification would be nice (Bacchus wine maybe?) as a counterpart to echo drops for mages to remove silence.

Don't forget MNK also has Purification. But yes, it would be nice to have an alternative way to restore tp as a tank, short of spamming Stone skin.

True! But you have to sacrifice DPS to use Purification. And isn't the cooldown like... 3-4 minutes? xD

as a tank raider who actually uses high ss in my BiS builds i would love this. some times equilibrium does cut it.

Well if you're at 0 tp, what sounds like a bigger dps loss? Using your 1.87gcd once every 3 seconds, or weaving a meditation between each attack? Especially if Invig is down for another limited or more.

Edit: I mean, I'm not a monk main, but whenever I'm separated from the boss for more than 2 secs and I'm in no danger of dropping gl3, I build up my chakra till I can get back into smack range.

What I mean is, since atm you'd HAVE to use the Purification to keep going, it's a loss because its an attack with high potency. If you had feathers you wouldn't need the purification so DPS would be higher. It would still be needed for AoE situations though.

Not really! You wouldn't have those chakras in the first place to use the Forbidden in the first place, assuming there's no breakaway from the boss, so you wouldn't really be trading a Forbidden for a purification because normally you wouldn't even have the chakra for it.
