To be fair, they always do add main story character glamours to the cash shop and never in game. SO, old/overused as these, uh... "requests" are, this one specifically actually could happen

I used to against cash shop, like some of you.
but now I realized that the most FUN part in this game is GLAMOUR, not raid/df/dungeons,
the adventures in classic mmo & party content are almost non existent in this game.
The gear progression/adventure/difficulties/stories/open world content etc, all are pretty lame in this game, dungeons are boring as hell.
so I've changed my mind

I am fine with the cash shop, as long as it is fun, whatever

okay, there are 3 common types of MMOs:

Pay to play: you have to pay a monthly sub in order to play the game.
Free to play: you have nothing to pay at all for playing the game, but there is an expensive cash shop.
Buy to play: you buy the game and it's content updates, but you don't have to pay for playing the game

sooo... in FF14, you have to buy the game and it expansions (buy to play model), you also have to pay a monthly sub to actually be able to play (pay to play model) AND there is an expensive cash shop (free to play model).

FF14 is NOT a sub MMO. it is an all-in-one-we'll-grab-your-money MMO

I doubt the hair would get added. It's rather long and it seems like SE has a limit for how long player character's hair can be.

Paid Retainers aside, the difference between the FFXIV cash shop and F2P MMO cash shops however is that the former sells optional cosmetics only while the latter sells stuff that can be beneficial to your gameplay.

But do you prefer the casho shop over ingame items? Is it more fun to you if you have to spend real money on those outfits instead of getting them through some ingame means? Are cash shop glamours more "fun" to you than finding nice looking clothes ingame? Playing dress-up, fair and square, but why, of why do you want to throw real money out for that? If I'm not mistaken you could have bought another game with the money you spend on those outfits for 6 characters... or did something useful with it >.< I know, I know, each their own but everytime I see something like this I cringe that people have that much money to waste and dont go and donate it or something...

Yugiri's available as a (somewhat spoiling) minion, so I am somewhat surprised that her outfit isn't in.

While I'm normally supportive of efforts to get stuff into the game directly rather than through the cash shop, all of the cosplay-characters-from-this-game glamours are already in the cash shop, so I'd like consistency if nothing else.

If XIV is a game like EQ/FFXI, if it's a SERIOUS mmo, that's a different story, I will agree with you

Well, to continue to throw stuff in their cash shop isn't going to make it more like xi/eq , they should start adding glamour obtained via questing or through team work...that would be a start. The latest edition to potd climb to 200 is a good start.

In 1.x this game had a community/xi feel, if they did it then they can do it again. Throwing everything in a cash shop seems counter productive.

why not for 1$ everyone would get it so win win for everyone :P

Just look at other Scions, Korean/Chinese, maid, and the recent FFX outfits,
do you think Yoshi will give them to you for free? I don't think so.

If you are willing to pay few bucks, then we may get those beautiful clothes very soon.
Let's be realistic, this is what Yoshi really wants.

you are asking for something that will never happen.

NPC outfits have been cash shop items so far, so it's obvious that this one would be as well, otherwise it wouldn't even be made.

So you've proven to SE you're willing to throw a decent chunk of money at them for adding a 1 into each of your characters database entries separately, but you want them to start making the outfits account bound? Not only beneficial but sometimes required. 240$ is minium to be even able to do content and 17k+ to get BiS so yeah "free to play" in my a$$. With this in mind i would never have the money to play these so called f2p games so thats why i always prefer sub based MMO's.

Well in each outfit they add hair style ( ex: lightning, snow , y shtola , etc. And its less expensive than exclusive outfit ( ex: chinease outfit etc)

This doesn't make any sense. The only thing you find fun in the game is glamour and so you're fine paying MORE money just to enjoy the game? Why not just go play a F2P game then? At least there you won't need to pay the subscription for a game you don't enjoy.
