Stone III Animation OCD

Does it bother anyone else except me that Stone III uses the CNJ casting animation and not the WHM one? THM/ACN/BLM/SCH/SMN animations are all consistent... I'll go back to my corner now.

Fair point. White Mage didn't have a single target offensive spell in 2.0 and SE recycled the Conjurer's animation instead of creating an entirely new one. If it makes you feel better, Black Mage's single target offensive animation is basically his AoE (Flare/Freeze in 2.0) with a forward swing at the end. White Mage got the same addition from Holy to Aero III.

How could we have been so blind? Dancer isn't going to be released in Stormblood. We were the dancers the whole time!

It's not CNJ or WHM casting animation, it's ST vs AoE casting animation.

Not sure if it will help or hinder the argument... maybe, but Scholar got a new animation for Broil, a semi dumb one but they got one, same with Ruin 3 for Summomer. Although that might be more to differentiate the two jobs more that branch from a single class.

We need more animations in general xD i hope 4.0 will bring us way more.

Everyone asking for a new casting animation and I'm over here wanted a new default animation for holding the staff when standing still. I hate the bitchy side-to-side bobble my character has while holding the staff so uncomfortably far from her body.

Umm /cpose to the other stance?

If I twirled everytime I cast Stone 3 I'd be one dizzy whm.

That doesn't work when you are in a duty, or fighting, or whatever.

I want the 1.0 animation where you hold it close to your body with two hands.
