That thread is on the General forums. This is the PVP forums.

The community here is generally interested in PVP, while General forums are more interested in complaining about how hard the game is and sharing their glamours. You will get different discussion here.

The pvp community can discuss the new pvp mount here, since nobody gives a $hit about what those carebears think anyways, they just ruin what little content, and stuff we have anyways. But that new mount should bring some fresh meat for us to feast on, at least that will be fun and something to look forward to thanksgiving/Xmas/New Years! =P

That one guys comment on how this mount would be added to the cash shop later made me want to /slashwrists srsly...

Alright then, I was aware this was made on the PvP forums too but since it really just appeared to be a thread sharing info already provided by the lovely Rei's thread I decided to direct it to an active thread.

Once again, let it be discussed here then if it ends up differently so.

Guess we need to get prepared for even more toxic saltiness because of this reward.

Finally a mount that's decent instead of the Paul Blart cart, still a missed opportunity for that "airship" to have been a floating wolf cage that has the bars all busted and stuff

So, it's more or less a re-skin of the Fenrir mount with a more than likely similar flying animation ... might be a bit bigger in scale though ... hard to tell. Either way, that's cool. Should be a sexy beast. I wonder if it will be tweaked for Season 4, the same way the armour was slightly changed between season 1-2. Perhaps a different colour or something, in this case. Looks good, regardless.

Is that so? I was under impression they'll rotate rewards every 2 seasons. Just like they are rotating rewards on the official forum for various contests. Only 1st place reward is unique as it has Season # in its title. I would not miss that clothing in any case as it's not very good looking set and I'd not glamour it. It looks like a bunch of different pieces leftovers from different gear sets... kinda like how we looked before the glamour system was added.

Hopefully they do a better job with the mount design than they did with the gear. The gear was ugly as f*** and barely passes for glamour gear aesthetic wise (personal opinion of course). It was very dissapointing that they just basically regurgitated season 1 rewards onto season 2 and just changed the lion theme to a hawk or whatever.

This is subjective. I personally loved the set, and it is legitimately my favorite in the game (minus the pants.) The crown from Season 1 is also the best crown (again, my opinion) in the whole game.

To be fair, what I think people are mad about, is SE knew everyone wanted this mount, and therefore putting it in this mode is somewhat of a slap in the face towards those people, I for one only half care where it is, but I did half think if it came out it'd be from void ark 3.

They are, yes, but the rewards are not going to be cycled back and forth or made available anywhere else other than Feast (such as buying it off the store). When they announced that the rewards for Feast would alternate on a bi-season basis, they implied that they were doing that to make rewards semi-exclusive. We were given one more season, because the gear would be gone after season 2. At least, that's the way they made it sound. It's possible that something was lost in translation, or they could go back on their word, but for now it's safer to assume that the gear rewards for Season 1/2 are not going to be made available anywhere else, for any other reason that a top 100 rank.

You also have to remember that 100 people out of an entire Data Centre of players is still very exclusive. It's not totally unique, no, but you'll be unlikely to run into more than 1 or 2 other people wearing the same set on your world.

I don't think that would have been likely.

So far, mount rewards are typically only offered by high-end content or abysmally long grinds, some of which still require high-end content (such as the tank mount reward for raiding). The majority of mounts that we have are from Extreme level Trials. They've never offered one for paltry content like a 24-man face-roll. For something like that, they're far more likely to hand out a minion or something. If they came out with a savage level of that raid (or some of it's specific bosses), then I could see it, but not for just the standard fair of content. The PvE community, in particular, should know better by now, because SE has had a pretty consistent track record with which levels of content hand out what types of rewards.

Well, that's natural. The opinion on a hen will vary depending on if you ask the hatchling, the rooster, the farmer or the fox. If the foxes are discussing among themselves, the discussion will take a different turn than if you only ask the farmers, who see the foxes as a nuisance and very much oppose their views.

We call that "bias", or colored viewpoints. Xenophobes discuss a topic like asylum far differently among themselves than open minds. And specialized forums like this are always highly biased. And if the forums had a downvote button, I'm pretty sure I'd get some just for stating that fact, because it implies the opinions of the local bias are not necessarily correct.

Whaaaaaat, I love the feast set (exclusivity is icing on the cake!) I love how ornate it is, and it is very different than usual gear for a caster (the gloves are caster gloves and fit with the red/orange band coloration of S1 Solo Top 100). I wasn't "wow'd" until I pulled together this glamour:

We still need to know if it will be a reward for #1, #10 or #100. I hope it's #100, I managed to rank in S1, but I really get too nervous PVPing and it's unhealthy for me >_>; had to play like 5-6 times a week because I couldn't handle the tension.
