I'm curious, why have these event items not wound up on the Mog Station yet? I would love to purchase them since I didn't start playing until well after they had ended.

The Maiden's Rhapsody event occurred on November 11, 2015, so I could still see it appearing in the store before Christmas maybe, but the Breaking Brick Mountains event occurred on September 14, 2014.

If you get a large enough following of people who want the items, the FFXIV team would most likely add them to the Mog Station. They did it with the Lightning Returns event items because the outcry was big enough.

Crossover event items largely don't go up on the Mog Station. It's only recurring yearly seasonal event items that go up on the Mog Station as the same event rolls around the following year.
The only exception to this was the FF13 crossover stuff, because people moaned about wanting Lightning's hair so much. -
