Recommended populated server

Hi folks, Just finally got free time to enjoy this game again. The server (Cactuar) I'm playing right now, i felt its dead. Any recommended populated server I can transfer?:D

Balmung or Gilgamesh (if you can get in). Balmung is mostly a rp server though but up to you.

Don't forget all the rage questing and QQ that the 3 servers named have, 10x more over other servers.
It funny how ppl go right for the 3 big one, when there over 20 server that have 30k+ pop

Haha, that's actually precisely what I HATE about RP on Balmung... it's easy to find RPers sure, but there are so many different TYPES of RPers and it's hard to find anyone that likes a less rowdy and more controlled. It's fun running by people RPing, but that doesn't make it any easier to get involved. It more makes me feel like "oh, their busy with their own scene, I can't jump in."

Gilgamesh has an RP scene like that and it's nice, but my FC is pretty quiet and I need to get more involved... So Behemoth sounds like a nice alternative... now what kind of Lala should I make for Behemoth...

+10 by far my fav server! Sargatanas is a very helpful and welcoming community to both new and vet players.
and Iv played on all 3 Gil/Bulg/Behemoth and did not like them at all.

I wouldn't recommend exodus even though we're very populated on some days. Super endgame surrounded and groupy.

BUT! I did go to levi on my alt and it was pretty cool~

Agree. I can't really remember the last time i ran into poison drama anywhere.
Plus, i think if you want for a bit of added stability, there is something to the Legacy server effect...
The Legacy population in 1.0 was tons of awesome IMO, and many of em i met in those days are still around.

Uh, no. No server currently has 30k. And no other server comes close to Balmung except Gilgamesh in population, though it also has a fairly decent lead. That is also the reason they have more "QQ". Larger playerbase means more chances you'll find people like that.

Anywho, Balmung is heavily RP centric with a light raid scene. Expect to find more casual progression there. As its the server I know best, the community is quite nice even if you aren't interested in roleplay. Gilgamesh is the unofficial "endgame" server. Good mid-pop options are Hyperion, Leviathan, Behemoth and Sargatanas-- in roughly that order. Have heard good things about Sarga and Hyperion, but can't speak for them since I don't play on either.

I'm guilty of that same problem. You really have to push yourself passed it. More often than not, people actually like others "interrupting." There are some great networking sites for roleplay on Balmung. If you ever find yourself back there or have an alt, google Hydaelyn Role-Players. Even Tumblr has a fairly large community for FFXIV.

Sargatanas is also home to the largedt Femroe centric LS you'll ever find anywhere. Recently, we had a pirate glam contest. It was very fun :)
