Tired of coverin up some sick back aesthetics and looking like a turtle. But at the same time I don't want to conceal by badass 4 foot allagan blade.
Please make an option for Paladins to be able to hide their shield but not their sword!

If it only hides it when it's on your back sure, just don't ever introduce an 'emperor's new shield' glamour please. Paladin stance/shield lob/shield bash would look weird as hell without a shield.

I think he's asking for the option to hide sheathed weapons to apply to only the shield. Not for him to have an invisible shield.

I think they wont add them, because RDM will have 1h sword (rapier) and this might confuse the players. We all know how much SE does not want to confuse the players when it comes to glamours.

I suppose they can implement a /shield like what they did with the /gaussbarrel for MCHs.
Since it'll be client-side only, it should not bother anyone. Not sure if it'll happen since there doesn't seem to be many complaints about a PLDs sheilds, unlike MCHs with the gausbarrell and aetheroconverter -

What i use as workaround is just two gearsets for pld. One with and one without shield. When i am afk in town i use the one without shield then.

I remember hearing them say in the past that they wouldn't be adding an Emperor's New Shield item to the game because so many of PLD's animations rely on the shield. They did say they were open to having smaller shields though, like targes or something even smaller, so we'll just have to wait and see if they decide to implement them at some point.
