So... I don't know if there is a thread about this and when I did the search for it nothing came up. This is probably just me, but... Does anyone else out there think DEVs/Art Designers should change/fix the arthritis-like, eagle claw, stiff-looking hands that the male miqo'te have when they are at rest position? I mean I know it's not a big deal, but... when you look at their hands at certain angles, it just seems a bit too... <insert word>.

They were going for an aggressive male feline look, perhaps. It bothered me at first when I first started arr with my mankitty.
Looked awkward and like he was ready to f**k up a scratch post any second lmao.
I just ended up creating an alt (rhu) that turned into my main lol -

when I create Ichiro Kyoshiro (my alt) around 2 years ago, I create a miqote and played some days. I back play with him 1 month ago and I dislike miqote hands and posture, it's something about their race. Now he is a hyur, but still I think lalafell is the perfect race, their emotion and posture are great
Edit: there's nothing wrong with miqote, but I particularly dont like play with this race -

They're going for a claw-like appearance, I suppose. It does look a little odd, but I've learned to ignore them. I don't mind the male miqo'te claw hands as awkward as some of the running animations for some races (male Au Ra and male Elezens in particular just look kind of...I don't know...)
If you notice with female miqo'te (if you play on one/have an alt), during cutscenes where they sort of put a foot forward into a sort of...combat stance? Not sure how to describe it...their hands turn into "claws" kind of, too. Just less arthritis-y. -

Differentiates us from the midlanders since we use the exact same body model with a tail tacked on. -

Eh, doesn't bother me. I just have to imagine that that's how their fingers curl in a relaxed position, from the tension in the tendons and whatnot. Besides, we have too little variety between races as it is, I'll take what I can get.

I for one actually like it. I wanted to go cat-guy (cause I do tiger claw kung fu and had tigers in real life) but everyone and their sister became a cat-guy when it first came out, which ruined it for me. Their hands are actually very well formed for what they are, it was one of my favorite features on them.
