Encyclopedia Eorzea not spotted in NA Square Enix Store

So today, the lore book is supposed to be available online; however, when I went to check, the book wasn't even listed in the NA store. What's going on here?? I want my book :(

Should hopefully be there soon. Just keep refreshing the page like me >.> The Odin statue still says "Order me on the 17th!" and yet it's still not available so they probably just haven't updated the store yet.

Yeah I'm really hoping this shit doesn't release the small window I have to work. I've been refreshing the Odin page every hour now, lol.

Reddit is reporting that NA store will be updated by 10PST we'll see if that ends up being true.

Sounds about right - I've noticed in the past that items meant to go on sale on a certain day didn't show up until later that day instead of midnight PST (though I've never paid attention to the exact time).

Well the store has been updated cause the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Duality [Blu-ray Disc Music] is on the store which was announced at the fan fest to go on sale today but I don't see the book and was hoping they would be selling the other items they had at the fan fest.

Book is now up as of 1 p.m. EST

Anyone else's order saying "pending" right now? I had to actually validate mine with a code sent to me via SMS. But I legit placed my order and got an email asking for verification at 12:00pm CST on the dot.

I really hope I got this book because I have been up refreshing this page for hours lol

EDIT: Mine is saying it will be shipped after December 27th, but I was under the impression it would be shipped way sooner than that. >.> Since the EU store didn't say anything like that, and the announcement at fan fest said sales (not preorders) would be available today. >.>

It says it is not shipping until after Dec 27, 2017. I'm hoping they meant 2016. It is probably an error. please be an error

I've actually managed to handle one of these in person, but don't own a copy yet. It is gorgeous, and the pages are filled with super tiny text=more lore!

I'm hoping the "December 2017" ship date is just more SE store shenanigans. I've pre-ordered items in the past, and they've had weird shipping dates like that, but the items have always ended up shipping out before the estimated date.

Pretty sure the Dec. 2017 is a placeholder date since it came up as a preorder sale. At least that's my hope, since my confirmation email said it's shipping.

Still miffed I had to pay extra shipping for it though because of the preorder status.

Edit: Okay so now it's showing up as just a regular order on the store after I've bought it. Does that mean I get a refund on the extra shipping I had to pay because of the original pre-order status or am I getting boned a second time after being unable to buy this at Fanfest?

Can we get a dev response on this? I'm still a little sore on the lorebook after waiting in line for hours at fanfest and getting multiple different answers from different staff regarding this single item in particular.

Oh, and you know, plugging the book and telling us to buy it when the line is capped and the item's sold out.

That's what I thought too. The impression I got from staff at the Fanfest was that there would be physical copies ready to order and ship this week.

I'm not sure it would take over a year to fix the typos, though...

So yeah, I'm definitely thinking it's placeholder/default information built into their store page and they will be correcting it as soon as they can (if it were December 2016 I could see it being accurate, but not 2017).

Edit: Yep, being edited as we're debating it - already changed to "Add to Cart" instead of Pre-order.

We were all just so hyped and chomping at the bit to get the book that we beat them to the punch on the fully updated store page.

It is fixed, now as "add to cart" and not pre-order. Release 10/17

I ordered the Duality CD also and it is showing a shipping date of 12/07/2016 so I'm hoping that's the actually shipping date for the book. It seems strange not to have in out NA before the holidays. I've had long delays for items from SE in the past, but never fourteen months.

I refreshed the info page just now and the line with the date has been wiped out.

If you check your "orders" on your skiing, the correct date is listed

Well when someone said it was fixed, I canceled my pre order then try to order it again but when I tried to check out it said it was out. I hate myself

I attempted to add it to my cart, but it continuously gives me an error that it is out of stock. The product page doesn't say it is, but I cannot remove the item and readd it to my cart. This is crazy.

I have no idea! But at least it should let me remove it and set it on preorder. It won't let me do anything. I'm stuck

EDIT: It finally changed to waiting list on the item list. I can't believe it sold out in the time I managed to log into my account.
