Besaid's social linkshell network!

This topic is a recruitment for the Linkshell Promathia. Promathia strives to be the largest social linkshell on all of Besaid. We will take anyone from new players to veterans, that just want a place to talk to people across Besaid.

The linkshell will help any player with any questions they have and can help with any leves or quests they need help with. Players will also find that we will also be performing Behests, Leves, and Experience Parties constantly.

This linkshell is meant to do it all. Promathia is simply one thing : A home. In Final Fantasy XIV you can have up to 8 Linkshells at one time. One linkshell can be for Behests, one for Leves, an end game linkshell, and then there is Promathia. Promathia strives to be the linkshell that links everyone together, so no matter what the level, gear difference, or class difference is, everyone will stay connected and have a place where people will always be on to help you out with any questions you have, or just to have some people to talk to when you are playing alone.

Promathia is lead by Takiri Isamu (Myself) and Pome Teme. Pome and myself are two players who have played other games together in the past, we are veterans of Final Fantasy XI, and we already experiences a lot of Final Fantasy XIV. Promathia will be a linkshell that will stay together till the end of Final Fantasy XIV and we don't plan on ever disbanding.

We encourage any new players that are unsure about joining a linkshell to just give us a try and we can help you will anything you need.

Promathia does have a Ventrilo server as well! The linkshell's ventrilo will be open to any user that would like to use it, and on request, we can make extra channels for specific likings, so we can provide the most comfortable experience for you while on Final Fantasy XIV.

Heya, fairly new player here, three weeks mucking around when the servers went down. Currently in an LS but it's quite small and most of them are in the US while I'm in the EU so I'm more often than not alone, or there's me and one other person online. Been pondering looking for another LS but since they're nice people and took in a newbie I'd feel bad to just jump ship.

I didn't know you could be in several LSes at once though. Like said, I'm still new and prefer trying my way around rather than reading up on everything :) A social and helpful LS is what I'd like to be a part of, and I'd be honoured if you would let me join.

Absolutely! I wish more people had the same mindset as you! You don't need to be a hardcore member, this linkshell will just be a social helping ground and chatting area for those looking for a little be more in their FFXIV career.

Agreed, all he does is sit in Ul'Dah and shout nonsense, mostly about the game being terrible.

Hey there! I bought FFXIV a while ago but haven't had the computer to run it yet. Luckily I'll be ordering my new computer and I've been searching around for different linkshells and servers that seem nice. I really like the write up you did for your linkshell, it sounds really chill. I'm not looking for anything crazy right now, I'm just really excited to play the game and meet some people. I played FFXI for years and really enjoyed the community aspect of it. I probably won't be playing for a few weeks but I just wanted to post and express my interest in joining you guys, if you're looking for one more. :) I know it's a bit early considering I don't have a computer that runs the game yet, but also the servers are down due to the earthquake, but I wanted to go ahead and establish a conversation with you. :) Hope to talk to you soon!

I may hit you up for one of these. I am a big believer of actually making use of your 8 linkshell slots as opposed to only being part of a single community. More social shells are always welcome imo. I like laid back environments :)

Just returned to XIV myself, having played a bit back in Alpha/Beta and a bit into retail.

Left the game for a bit and have been goofing around in other games, but missed playing this game... So I decided to come back and see how things have changed.

I also decided to start from scratch. First, because it's been so long since I last played (or seems that way, anyhow) and second because the people I knew on my old server (Selbina) don't seem to be playing anymore.

So I decided, what the heck... I'll start a new character on a different server and really experience it as a newbie again.

That said, I am seeking an active, friendly and social LS to join. I tried contacting Takiri earlier this evening but there was no response. I assume you were simply AFK.

Hello Takiri Isamu I am a new player coming into the world of Eorzea and has been playing Final Fantasy XI and thought i gave this a try and so far i have been in the game for 1 week and i don't understand a thing yet. Also that i haven't seen anyone talk to me or so, i tried talk myself one time but no response. I am looking for an social and fun also a really happy environment and atmosphere Linkshell. I came to this game because of FFXI, and that it became boring in the end. Everything is so new with me in this new MMO SE has done. I could use a few or alot of new friends in this MMO to convince me to stay here and teach me some basic stuff. I did delete my char but will create a new one soon, I didn't get my in-game item that I get from Limited Collectors Edition. But SE Support told me why I didn't get it so yeah. I am easy to talk to and very easy to get to know. So far i have enjoyed the battle system and the gameplay. The main thing is i have no clue what to do or where there is to do. And nobody to talk to. Let's say i could use a new family to get to know.

I will say the name i'm gonna use Zerio Hawkins and if that is not available I'm taking Zerio Azroz. So far what I have read and seen from the main post you did and what others wrote I find it very fun and interesting myself. Well let me know if I can join you guys to the community.
