Investing points in Enhanced Stats?

Enhanced Str, Vit, etc. Is this a common thing?

It was common to invest into HP back in seal rock days when people weren't amazing at PVP and most things just devolved into Stun -> Limit Break.

Currently it's not worth it, they nerfed LB a bit so you don't need the points to survive, but you used to need them in order to survive LB.

Has not been worth it since 60 cap, as the bonus did not scale with the increase in level.

What Garza says is objectively wrong. You do not waste PVP rank points in VIT to survive LB/damage, you use VIT accessories to survive LB/damage.

There were some players who used niche builds with VIT stacking during the pre-season 1 of The Feast when HP correlated to interrupt resistance, but that's about it, and even then they did not use PVP points for VIT, just their attributes.

Mate did you read what I typed?

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but back during Seal Rock, players actually DID use points in Vit to survive the 1-hit LB. I'm not saying it was smart or even a good idea, I simply said it was common. Please read before you post. You should even note that I said these players were not good at pvp.

And it's wrong. Good PVPers, credible PVPers, etc. did not put stats into VIT with their PVP rank points. I don't know a single person who did such. If you were to survive LB's, you wore 2 fending accessories or put attributes into VIT.

It's not wrong what he said , only job people played was summoner and they don't have the best pvp point choices so enhances vit > veil

In most cases, no one would slot additional traits over skills.

Generally speaking, the benefits gained from slotting your AP points into your PvP skills for reduced CD's, increased duration, or increased potency FAR outweighs any benefits you can gain from boosting your traits. Most of your stats can be adequately min/maxed just using a good mix of PvE/PvP gear. Some of those stats can be buffed by using your AP traits, but those traits are limited on what they can accomplish because they can only scale your gear stats within the ilvl 150 sync. Technically, you would be stronger, but the odds of that additional strength actually making a difference in the heat of battle is quite low. PvP skills, on the other hand, can be used in the heat of the moment for an immediate and readily visible effect that could very well make the difference between winning and losing.

In the end, you're better off using your points for your skills and doing the best you can for your actual char stats by maximizing your gear potential. It can be a pain in the ass, because you have to map out where all the stat caps are, but it's definitely better than wasting AP points that are better used for skills.

They can be somewhat useful in the lvl50 stuff. Talking level 60 the bonus is too low to be of any use. Also you'd need to invest 12ap that is clearly better spent elsewhere.

I've always had a hard time justifying putting points into the enhanced stats vs the benefits you gain from enhancing your PvP actions. Note that I only play healers (rarely tanks).

Are the enhanced actions that bad for some jobs?

Also, as a healer 1-2 fending pieces were always more than enough to live through anything.

Is running out of MP a concern for some jobs in small scale PvP situations like Feast? I specify that because in Frontlines - particularly in Shatter - it seems like a nonfactor, and so abilities like Report/Manasong are not particularly useful.

I've got 12 ap in enhanced dex, but I've run out of relevant PvP abilities to put those points into - Detect, Report, and Mana Draw being the only remaining ones.

I suppose you could make an argument that a 30s shorter cd on Detect will be more impactful when it does yield returns. The last one though is completely useless since I have no need for personal mana regen. Report I'm kind of iffy on, but frankly I have no experience with the mana-based jobs in PvP so I have no idea how to value it.

In Feast it can definitely be an issue because there is constant, very heavy damage throughout the whole fight which makes Manasong/Report very useful for healers when they get forced low so they can stay in the fray. It can also be useful in Shatter when you are against more aggressive teams that will push you constantly, forcing your healers out of mana eventually.

Yeah I figured it might be a larger factor in Feast since you have much more small scale and sustained engagements compared to, say, Shatter which is a lot of alliance sized deathballs strafing each other. Which is not to say that small scale fights don't happen, but they were a lot more common in Seal Rock at least in my experience.

I'll keep that in mind, particularly if I find the time to revisit Feast properly.

Report/Mana Song seem important in feast.

As for 1 on 1 (Duel)..let's say 12 points are meh if you have over 1500 points on a stat xD
