Sooo, SE might want to add a little more description to the retry's for Wonderous Tales. You cant use them once you have all 9 seals (which it doesn't say). Wastedmy entire week because of this small detail that was left out. THanks!!

I think this is more just people misunderstanding how the Wondrous Tails book itself worked. That is, they thought that a particular duty would be tied to a particular sticker, or that using retry would remove a sticker. This is not the case. Thus, retry doesn't swap stickers around or remove one, but just lets you redo a task you've already done to earn another sticker, while counting another duty you've yet to do as "Done" to account for the stickers you already have.
So of course you wouldn't be able to use it once you have all 9 seals.
i know for a fact that it mentions somewhere that you can use it with 3-7 tasks complete. i was trying to plan my strategy when i noticed it and it put a real damper on things.
So... I get what retry does (used this morning) but I'm confused about the "shuffle" one then? That can be used when you have all 9 right? I mean, i'm scared to use it cause I think i've got a decent layout going but that's the risk you take :P
Nice to see the "second chances" carry over too.

Just click second chances. It's not immediate, pops up a new menu. Explains further what retry and shuffle do and says about when you can use them (you can't use either past 7 stickers)
Shuffle re-arranges the sticker layout, effectivily this could net you lines if you don't have any or worse, none if you have 1. its RNG based.
You can use Shuffle up at 3 stickers and up to 7. and 8 it becomes unavailable and at 9 the book locks.
Edit : Second Chances do transfer over to next weeks books and so forth.
Sadly I wasted my weekly on this as well. Did all my challenge logs, got the 9/9 stickers. Wanted to reshuffle to only find out I couldn't.
Totally my fault afterall that's what I get for assuming things before hitting reshuffle. I was rather ticked off.
Would of been nice if the quest npc had a more in depth explanation or even a little 'guide' on how those 2 options work.
I got 7 stickers on the board and have other events complete for the remaining two.
Now I'm just building second chance points to shuffle for a Good chance to get 3 lines.
I think it has more to do with people not bothering to actually read the information given to you when you first accept the quest for wondrous tails. Therefor, not understanding what Wondrous tails actually does, which leads to confusion with Retry and Shuffle.
There is no confusion, only dumb people that either don't read or have absolutely no reading comprehension. I got it and had no one explain it to me...
Seriously there is Nothing confusing in the instructions for retry or shuffle.
I think it would help if it was more obvious at a glance a duty is finished (especially after using a retry making a random one finished). Like a DONE stamp across it or something because I just did a duty the game had deemed finished because I had used a retry yesterday. Just darkening doesn't really help at a glance.
This is exactly how me and my bf understood it. I was lucky enough not to have gone crazy with the stickers yet, but he pretty much wasted his book for this week because of the misunderstanding. :( More clarification for how Retry works in any in-game capacity would help out a lot.
