18... Oh my...
7 for the emote.. geez.
The price for the dress and emote are outrageous! You should get everything, dress, barding and emote for 18!
That qipao..... for Ada Wong cosplay!
If they're going to charge these prices for small items/emotes then they should just go free to play.
Purchased Them Just Now lol
Sigh... Stuck at work right now...
Wish Tidus or Yuna Outfits or any other rarities were on MogStation
That price is too high... I wish they would be more reasonable. $10 for outfit?
That being said, I'll have to appreciate that they made it 13.50 Euros ($19 Australian Dollars) so its relatively equal.
tries to think of a reason for spending $18 because I need that outfit
All I want to know if is the outfit is dye-able.
But not that that would stop me from buying it though.
Appears to be from pictures of it I've seen on twitter.

I'll never understand some people. All I read is Give us Items! Mog Station! Take my Cash!... Too Expensive!
I'd buy it in a heartbeat if the robe bottom wasn't part of the chest for a nice glamour. but the bottom part of it takes away any interest I'd have in it
On the bright side...you did get them in the MogStation and on EU/NA servers... XD
To be fair, every other piece of individual glamour has been $5. Minfilia and Lightning were the exception, but included multiple pieces ($3 each for Lightning's gear) and a hairstyle. This is literally double the price of Lightning ($6 for each of the three pieces) yet you get half as much.
I hate to make the F2P argument, but Blade & Soul's costume's are actually cheaper.
Apparently, the dress has stats on it.
Set Bonus (Capped): Far Eastern Garb for Women
Active Under Lv. 30
2 Equipped:Vitality +3
3 Equipped:EXP Bonus +30%
Supply and Demand people. SE recognized the demand, which means they get to name their price. And seeing said demand, they saw fit to charge an above-average premium.
But anyway, I bought it. Immediately set the whole outfit as my Monk Glamour. Works very nicely with Punch Gloves.
Final Fantasy XV was the worst thing to happen to this game, since I'm pretty sure that's where cash shop money goes to.
FFXV also have stuff like summer DLC,etc. Suddenly playing a game suddenly feels so expensive.
Frankly I think people would rather have the bonus removed and be charged lesser, because this game should by no means have costume that gives bonuses and stats. Besides the set is lvl1 and gives the same defence as most cash gears so it wouldn't be usable. Unless the effect is still in place even after glamouring(which I doubt so)
A full CG movie with limited screening, likely cost $100m+ to produce and an anime, there's no doubt about that!
I do want to buy the costume, but at the same time that would be supporting these ridiculous prices in a P2P game, even Blizzard doesn't charge this far out the ass. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Indeed that +30% exp under lvl 30 is pretty sweet. on top of that you can use that ring from the training grounds to get a whopping 60% exp boost all the way to 30. So total if you already have a class lvled up past 30 your total exp will be 50% + 50% (under 50 boost) + 60% (ring + Eastern Garb) + 10% (FC) + 3% (food) = 173% exp boost and if you have rested exp that's 223% total. Too bad that ring cant scale all the way to 60 xD.
223% total exp boost isn't too shabby.
Especially since we don't know if it stacks with other EXP boosts. Not to mention, it's useless in dungeons. A tank wouldn't ever be able to hold aggro or even survive. So it's basically fate exclusive.
They might do a Christmas sale in November/December. I'll wait until then because I have to agree. I don't mind Cash Shops, but this is basically doubling the price for half the glamour.
If running as a tank maybe but as a dps or healer you will do just fine. Besides that is what the food is for any way to help balance out the other stats. you really dont need crazy base stats like high str or crit or normal stats like def...ect until you reach the lvl 32 dungeon... the last boss is a little less forgiving if the dps is a little slow... those poison aoe's can kinda hurt if not place right around the arena... xD
The exp boost will stack with other Experience boosting items.. SE would have placed a no stacking rule on the item if that was the case.
I think you will be fine with low gear in any dungeon up until lvl 32. I think too many players place to much credit on stats especially in low level dungeons.... The gear you get from lvl 15 to lvl 28 dungeons has very low stats on them to begin with. I know for a fact that missing a few defensive/offensive stats will not make or break a player in any dungeon below level 32. Your weapon will be the highest point in any damage value that also includes endgame. So any stats you get from gear that comes from lvl 28 or below dungeons are a small extra boost to damage and def.
You asked for it you got it. Happy now? I guess many people already buying the costumes but I'm waiting for the "omg SE why cash shop items and rip off prices" threads to appear. I'm waiting for the FF XV items on Mog Station. Then it will be the real carnage and rip off party. Shame I'm already screaming internally for Nyx's Kingsglaive outfit.
Wait for Xmas where all prices for everything is around 50% is what I will do.
I was really looking forward to the china exclusive items and actually wanted to spend money for something like this the very first time. But that price is ridiculous. The price isn't even the only thing I'm disappointed about. If we don't buy them, SE will be like "You were screaming for these outfits, yet we don't see you buy them. OK, we're not considering bringing the sonic cloud etc. to you anymore".
Gotta love the doom and gloom this forum is so full of.
Not sure if they'll be on sale, considering how new they are but here's hoping? Even a 30% discount would be alright.
I can guarantee you it's going to sell well, or well enough for them to bring over the South Korean costumes and so on. It's a highly desirable item, and SE knows that. :p As for the mount, maybe it's better we don't get it if it just ends up a $30 mount? :s
Unlike other items in the game, since you're physically paying cash for the items, the exp boost should last up to level 50 imo, however with that said, the fact that they added it at all is a courtesy as other outfits have no stats at all. Therefore I won't complain.
People on this very forum were all but giving SE blank cheques & screaming "give it to me, whatever the cost". Well now the chickens are home to roost & they've brought a big bill with them.
You pooped in your own bed, now lie in it.
Can't we just appreciate the fact that they made it available out of the Chinese servers? Since it's an item which actually should have stayed exclusive to said server.
It may be expensive but it's optional. Like someone said earlier; it makes me a bit sad to see that there are complaints again. The playerbase asked for it and got it in the end- but now it's too expensive.. sighs. Just be happy.
SE, THANKS FOR SELLING "Far Eastern Garb for Women" IN MOGSTATION WE GREATLY SUPPORT~^_^
Now the korea dress. Please! :)
I remember you guys saying: "I would gladly pay 30 bucks for those outfits if SE give it to us, pls SE."
I guess it's time to start thinking about how to ask for stuff.
Can we stop with this "you guys" nonsense? Evidently, the OP, myself and others were not among people who were offering Square a blank cheque for this outfit nor did everyone who wanted it all suggest they would. Just because we're not against the cash shop, doesn't mean we all will blindly throw money at it. Or shall I lump you into all my opinions about the game?
