Mor Dhona=More Donuts? How did this start?

Not sure if it's just a Balmung thing or it's everywhere, but every now and then, I seen people call Mor Dhona as More Donuts. How did this even become a thing? Yes, I know that the two look similar, but I just wanna know how it began.

i mean, try saying more donuts with your mouth full of donuts.

it essentially sounds like mor dhona

no idea i always called it moar drama.

but more donuts is good too.

We call it Mor Donuts on Siren. :)

I heard people call it More Donuts on Diabolos too here and there. I think it's just one of those kinds of jokes that pops up in different places easily.

Confirmed. Haha I have no idea either but I remember hearing it on gilgamesh and I've said it ever since when referring to the place :P

In 1.0 it was shaped like a Donut with the lower half still being there. I guess it stuck with 2.0 even though its only half(wouldn't even say half)

My FC and I have trouble NOT Calling it "Moar Donuts"...

Never seen it called anything other than Mor Dhona myself over on Odin...

But then again the community does kind of differ from server to server.

People just like giving places/NPCs/etc. they often use silly nicknames that are phonetically similar :)
Think of "Wiping City" (Weeping City) and "Neverleave" (Neverreap) and so on.

The people I know call it "More Döner" though...which is essentially the same - a call for more food, even if it's a different kind of food ;)

What do your servers cal Idyllshire then? In Coeurl people sometimes call it Diddlyshire.

balmung it's called more Dohnuts oh and bynhildr it's just one of those things that just happens partly the way it looks and sounds when said out loud and partly from gamers very bored stareing at a teleport list just like some are starting to call Idllyshire "the shire" lol gotta love that lord of the rings reference.

Worth noting that "dona" is one of the words Spanish speakers use for donut.

A few players here refer to it as such, my friends included, I just rolled with it.

My friends and I have been calling it more donuts for years, and I'd heard a handful of other people say it, but... I had no idea it was such a widespread phenomenon. Neat. I guess I can stop feeling quite so self-conscious when I accidentally blurt 'more donuts' to a group of unfamiliar players and then worry that they have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. I have had a few people "what???" me when I've said it in the past, so I never would have figured, lmao.

Fun fact: gloom weather is grape jelly donuts. or just "welch's", according to a friend.

I've never seen it referred to as that and I'm on Coeurl. That's pretty funny though.

And yeah on Coeurl we call it More Donuts as well. I heard it being called that from an old friend back in 2.0.

I've always referred to it as Merdonna

I've called it more doughnuts since 2.0. why. hell if i know.

i assume its because of word association

because everyone wants more doughnuts. there never seems to be enough.

I've always called it this. I didn't even know this was a thing beyond myself lol

Because when you teleport there it says Mor Dhona - Mor Dhona....instead of Revnants Toll - Mor Dhona. Never been fixed

Now, it's More Donuts - Mor Dhona...because that makes just as much sense xD
