Could someone help me understand Accuracy caps?

After kind of being at the point of being "caught up" for this raid tier (only to experience none of it, not even the EX trials), I'm beginning to understand how secondary stats start to outweigh primary stat increases (aka item level) as gear level goes up.

So for SMN I understand I'm focusing on Crit > Det > Spell Speed and Bard Crit > Det > Skill Speed, with only just sufficient amounts of Accuracy to meet caps. Correct me if I'm wrong, by the way.

My question, looking at the 3.4 gear race, which I'll no doubt be plodding along at a snail's pace in, is just HOW much Accuracy would I need for both of those jobs? Even if we're not extrapolating what Soul of the Creator (Savage) would require, based just on say, A8S, just how much accuracy do I need to maintain as I swap out my 230 and 240 pieces for new ones?

Honestly I hope so.

I don't think they'll be removing accuracy caps at this point. If they do then accuracy as a stat pretty much needs to be dropped and I think that would be in the patch notes.

Maybe misheard, there adding accuracy requirements to the SSS.

I was just going by what a FC member said, i do not have source to an article, lol
Basically they (SE) did not want players to worry about acc, and concentrate on more important stats.
Perhaps it is a later patch, not sure. I will dig around some

For BRD with Wanderer's Minuet it's actually Crit (0.295) > SS (0.168) > Det (0.166) and for SMN with Garuda it's Crit (0.181) > Det (0.159) > SS (0.138) as you wrote. You're also correct in that your first priority should be meeting the accuracy caps for the content you wish to do and then focusing on Weapon damage, your main stat, and then the secondary stats in the stat weight priority order.

The new savage accuracy caps aren't known yet, but you can make some estimatons based on the numbers from first and second Alexander savage (already posted by AskaRay).

I wouldn't be surprised, SE are experimenting with the community response to Creator with the ACC cap staying mostly static since midas. If the response is good, I expect ACC to go out the door with the expansion.

All i know is accuracy IV is making me gil atm, lol

Apologies for the necrobump, but I have a related question that shows how differently I'm looking at this now. I've noticed accuracy caps are only figured out for savage raids. Does this mean that, outside of Savage (expert roulette dungeons, extreme trials, normal 8-man and 24-man raids, etc), accuracy requirements are negligible? I've pretty much given up on doing Savage (no static and no prior experience outside of Coil), but I'm kind of concerned about switching gear pieces around and having my accuracy ping-pong between high and low numbers and missing in say, Creator Normal or Weeping City.

Extreme primals also have accuracy cap (I believe the current one, Sophia EX, has the same value as current savage raids, which is 699 for melee etc.). Every other type of contents have negligible accuracy cap, yes.
