Allagan Tomestone of Scriptures gear

Opinion? It looks average on me...

My friends in my FC are saying (and really hoping) that's just the gear from Library HM (because trenchcoats).

But if this really is the scripture gear, all I can say is thank the freaking Twelve for glamours.

I never like any single of healer/caster gear from tomestone ugh... Good thing I will glamour them with thancred glamour.

Lore gear is typically glamoured over anyway. Typically crafted and novelty gear take precedence over stock designs.

I don't care much for these sets but...I'd love more long coats/trench coats, kind of like the field commander coat from pvp.

I'm really liking the BRD/MCH coat. This may be the first tomestone set in awhile that I don't glamour. :)
I'm a fan of plainer sets in general.

Lore tank gear was awfull! Didnt like it at all.

Thank the 12 thats not the case with this new scripture gear :p

I'm usually of the same mindset, but they can still look good by themselves, or with a bit of tweaking. The Ironworks stuff looked pretty good, particularly the healer coat.

Example- the Hellfire sets look really nice if you dye them pure white, it's what I'm using on my monk right now.

Cute hat on BRD/MCH, curious what the rest looks like. I'm admittedly liking the NIN set, too. Could really work with those boots and leggings with other glamours.

I like the simplicity of the design, since so many gear -in my opinion- is ruined by them adding pouches, herbs, gold linings, etc. I am just not a fan of the "puffiness" the ranged dps chest pieces.

Hate to disappoint, but that image is directly from SE's website. So it is the new tomestone gear. Not a huge fan of that DRG set :(

Welp, there's one less thing to be excited for... I don't like any of it.

I play a SCH and I love the Sharlayan look! But I can see how 99% of people who aren't into the whole schoolbook attire would find it boring.

That healer beret, though, I'm toally gonna rock that hat.

Will this game ever have a good looking thing to wear?

I'm SCH too but it would look funny for my highlander to dress like that (Or any roes). I prefer battle gear like thancred attire.

Uhhh Yoshi showed concept art for the gear in the last Live Letter & this is not the same gear. I remember Castor looking REALLY good & I was gonna swap mains for it lol

I think that was the i250 crafted set. Caster/Healer set looks really nice indeed. Looks like Morrigan the "Witch of the Wilds" attire from Dragon Age.

I really like the simplicity and clean design. Far too much gear is this game is ruined by unnecessary flourish imo. There are some pieces that would look awesome, if not for a final "addition" that really ruins it - a good recent example would be Thancred's outfit that those random green rags hanging from his waist. I'll probably use this Ninja top for glamour, maybe the gloves too.

I don't think crafted gear has ever looked that good though. Are you sure that's not from the next 24 man? It does have a very Void Ark-y look to it.

Also your RO signature hit me right in the nostalgia feels.

I kind of like it.

It is an improvement over the Lore Gear.

Pretty sure it's crafted. I don't think they would show the next 24 man sets this early since the next 24-raid is in patch 3.5. It's also showing a weapon and I doubt the next 24-raid will drop one.

Haha always surprising to find a former RO player. It was a great game in its old times.

the weapons (if actually part of the tome gear) look really boring. those look more like generic grand company stuff (limsa in this case, cause of the red parts)

Considering the next void ark is in 3.5, I doubt the gear has finished being designed, let alone Yoshi P showing it off, so no, it's not 24 man

That cloth in the back of the tank set better be a scarf or cape. I'm really tired of all these long coat designs.

They look very underwhelming for tome gear.

Egh, I just find the design pretty boring.

I have no qualms with more, uh..."basic" stuff - heck, I might end up glamouring the Survival Shirt over the stuff, any more basic and you're wearing a hempen camise/undershirt. But it looks, I dunno. Dull colors, lots of pointless belts, the white thing reminds me more of a culinarian, NIN hat looks like it'll have hardcore clipping with most hairstyles, tank stuff got this awkward V-neck thingy, coat/half-dress design isn't exactly a favourite of mine either...

Healer and tank gears seem new to me (scripture ?).
The others are just copy paste (dungeons ?).

They look pretty dull: BRD / MCH is just a reskin of the latest PVP set... I hope dungeon armos will be better ..

I personally doubt this is the new tome gear, though i could be wrong. Didnt they just do a tank design contest with a winner? Wouldnt that be the new tome gear? I cant see it being gotten from anywhere else.

Is it actually confirmed that it's Scripture Gear? Looks more like it would be the new dungeon gear drops.

Honestly, the pieces of the set look good by themselves, might glam them something different but btw where's the dragoon set, it's the only one missing, o and monk

I really like the BRD/MCH gear and the healer one! :)

All of you Jaded Jodies can hate all you want, but that BRD/MCH set is the business. NIN gear looks really good (though I prefer full masks to eyepatches. The old-school Ninja Gaiden look never gets old).
